The Spider Gang all exit a bus. Why didn't the bus driver or other passengers ask questions about a cartoon pig, a black and white Spider-Man, a fatter Spider-Man, a young Spider-Woman or a Anime Japanes girl with a large red and blue robot? It's New York City.

After exiting the bus, the Gang of Spiders begin swinging up to the top of a crane like a group of spiders, with SP//DR using its arms to swing like a monkey, until they are looking down at the penthouse.

"Kingpin has a private elevator entrance from his penthouse to the collider below." Peni explained as her robot companion shined on the building showing a transparent image of the building.

Spider-Man Noir looks down to see people walking into the building in droves. "Didn't count on having an audience." he remarked.

Hunter shrugs. "Maybe he wants to celebrate his achievement." he theorized. "Not every day a portal to other dimensions is created."

The Spider Gang then swings over to the penthouse's skylight and look inside. The room is massive and filled with party guests at dining tables and there are multiple large banners of both Spider-Man and Peter Parker with one large banner saying, "THE PETER PARKER MEMORIAL FUND."

"You've got to be kidding me." Peter B., Gwen, Noir, Peni and Ham say in unison at the sight they're seeing.

"Hosting a memorial for the guy you killed?" Hunter shakes his head. "That's just disrespectful."

Kingpin stands. Cops and guards surround him. He takes the dais, waves to the crowd. "Thank you, it's nice to be with you this evening to celebrate Spider-Man." he said with a smile. "He and I were very close. He was always a favorite of my son. Kids love Spider-Man, right? Still do."

Gwen's mask lenses narrow and she hisses "What a pig."

Spider-Ham looks to her, offended. "I'm right here."

Spider-Man Noir then points down to the party. "Hold on, get a load of how the waiters are dressed." he said and the Gang sees that the waiters are all dressed like tacky Spider-men with bowties. "It's in poor taste but it can't be that easy."

Less than five minutes later, the Spider-Gang is moving through the fundraiser party. Hunter and Noir each carry a serving tray with snacks and drinks, while Peter B. and Gwen push a large cart which is made from a contorted and crawling SP//DR.

"It's that easy." Spider-Man Noir deadpanned.

And where is Peni, you may ask? Sitting inside her robot's cockpit, typing away and eating some popcorn.

"And I just want to thank Mary Jane Parker for being here this evening." Kingpin speaks up, gesturing to the mentioned woman that sits on the table. "Our prayers are with you, Mrs. Parker."

As Kingpin mentions MJ, Peter B. looks over and spots her in the crowd. "MJ?" he repeats in a whisper.

Hunter glanced over to the older Spider-Man. "Oh no, I know this look."

Gwen leans into Peter B.'s eyesight. "Pay attention! It's not the same MJ, Peter." she tries to tell him and push him with the group.

A moment later, Peter B. tries to break away from the group. "I'm sorry, I'll be right back--" he says before Gwen and Hunter get in front of him. "No! Peter! Come here, come here! Trust me, I've been there." she said imploringly.

Hunter nods at Peter B. "You gotta move on, buddy."

The older Peter doesn't listen. "This will just take one sec. Let me just-- Oh!" He turns his cart toward MJ only he bumps into MJ.
