The first day of school was tomorrow and I am not ready. I couldn't imagine going to school here, without everyone I knew. In this new world I lived in they are all gone.  "Ivy?" AJ's voice comes down the hall opening the door. "Yes?" I look up from my phone,

"I'm going to go school shopping. Do you want to come?" She asks me looking down at my phone, "Yes actually, I need quite a few things for school." I look up at her fidgeting with my rings, "Okay, I'll be downstairs." She says closing the door.

I put my shoes on and walked out the door, when I walked down the stairs she wasn't there so I assumed she was already in the car. I opened the door for the backseat and realized that it would only be me and her. "Hop in the front seat," She demands in a nice way patting the passenger seat, "Okay, coming." I shut the door and walked around the car in the front passenger seat.

"Just us huh?" I ask her to shut the door, "Apparently the boys thought it was boring and the girls are next door playing so I thought we could have some one-on-one time." She says backing the car up and driving off.

The entire drive it was obviously going to be awkward because we hadn't talked about why I was here or what I'd been up to. "How's it going with the Audi kid?" She asks me turning the radio down, "It's Adi and how do you know about him?" I ask her confused, "Well.." She trails off. "Ivan may or may not of told me the takedown last night after he came back this morning while you were still sleeping." She trails off paying attention to the road.

"Oh," I respond looking out the window, nobody talked until we got to the store. "Grab a cart?" I ask her grabbing a cart, "Most definitely!" She adds reminding me while she walks inside the store forgetting one. I catch up to her and continue to shop. After a while of shopping all I could think about was him. He made my day better always, he was someone I could lean on when I needed him the most.

I wasn't sure how the situation with Olivia was going to go but I always figure it out. "Are you coming?" AJ asks and stops walking, I must've zoned out. "Yeah, sorry." I follow her with the cart as she shops and throws things in the cart. "If there's anything you want or need throw it in." She adds that she is throwing more pencils in the cart. "It's all on me!" She whispers sarcastically. I laugh and say ok throwing a box of pencils in along with highlighters and Sharpies.

"What backpack do you want?" She asks me giving me options. "That black one is fine." I say pointing to the backpack as she points out my options, "Alright and I think that is it. Want to grab some food?" She asks putting things in bags, "Uh, sure why not." I add on helping her bag everything up. We walk out pack everything up in the car and drive off.

"Having fun?" She asks hoping I'd say yes, "Obviously if it's with you." I smile pointing at her nonchalantly. My phone goes off and it's Adi. I smile at my phone and start laughing. "What's so funny?" She asks smiling at me knowing who it was. "Oh it's just Adi, he is being crazy talking about marriage," I add laughing.

"You're not getting married." She replies fast and trails off, "Not this young." She corrects herself stopping the car. "Don't get a heart attack on me. Adi and I are still trying to figure out who we are. We can't get married if we aren't done with school anyway."

I trail off back on my phone as she goes on. "Are you guys.. you know." She tries to beat around the bush, "Oh my god AJ.." I go on laughing, "We haven't even said I love you yet." I reminded her hoping she would take a hint. "Use protection-" I cut her off before she could finish. "Ew AJ really?" I ask her laughing in a gross way.

"Well we are home, can you get Ivan down here to help me?" AJ asks when I open the car door, "Of course!" I add on before shutting the door, I walk inside the house looking for Ivan but he is nowhere to be found, so far. "IVAN!" I shout from the bottom of the stairs. "YEAH?" He asks from his room, I wasn't going to shout so I ran up the stairs and knocked on his door.
