After I was done getting ready Ivan and Ruby were already ready as well. "Let's go guys." Ivan says grabbing the car keys, "Damn Ivy, you look... hot." Ruby compliments me smiling, "Thank youu, you look like a goddess girl." I fix the straps on her dress for her, "Alright quit flirting with each other let's go." Ivan gets annoyed opening the door and turning the car on.
I was in the back, Ruby was in the front passenger, and of course, Ivan was driving. We got to Jaylen's house and it was pretty and simple, modern white with the greenest grass. Ivan pulls into the driveway shutting the car off.
Ivan rings the doorbell and it's a woman. "Hi, Mrs. Brown." Ivan goes on, "Is Jaylen here?" He asks pointing around, "Yes, come in." She opened the door for us to come in, it felt like home, it wasn't this big house with million-dollar decorations. It was cute and simple like a family home.
There was a little toddler in the living room and an older-looking boy in the living room as well. "Hey Ivan," He says as if he knew him really well dabbing each other up. "Hey, where is Jay?" Ivan asks sitting down. "In his room, he said he gotta look his best tonight." He says playing his game. Ruby sits next to Ivan and I stand behind the couch facing the wall where the TV was mounted. "Dear you can sit down." His mom reassured. "Thank you," I say sitting down not feeling so awkward.
"You look absolutely gorgeous!" She goes on smiling, "I wish I had a daughter." I smile cheering her up, "Thank you, and I'm sure you'll get a granddaughter one day." I cheer her up. She smiles looking at my features. I smiled back at her as Jaylen walked into the living room from the hall.
"My man," Ivan goes on dabbing him up. Ruby and I just smile sitting down on the couch. Jaylen looks at me and smiles walking up to me, "Damn girl you went all out." He hypes me up as I start posing, "Yall so cute." Ruby says taking a picture of us, we both look at each other and smile. "Oh I gotta get a picture!" His mom grabs her phone taking a picture.
"Alright we got to go guys, or else we gonna be late," Ivan says looking down at his watch. "Yeah let's go," Jaylen grabs his phone. Ruby opened the door as I was behind her and behind me was Jaylen. "Bye ma," Jaylen hugs his mom. He is sweet to his mom and it was adorable.
We all got in Ivan's car Jaylen was in the backseat with me and they were in the front. "Ivan slow down," I demand as he speeds down the main road. "I'm an amazing driver calm down." "Ivan I'm serious, slow down," I demand louder. "Dude slow down, we ain't in no hurry." Jay reminds him rubbing my shoulder.
We get to Keith's house and grab the present from the back trunk. We walk up and walk inside. "JAYLENN," Tyler shouts dabbing him up. What was with it with guys dabbing each other up? "IVYYY." He goes on hugging me, "Damn you look good ma." Tyler says in my ear, and I chuckle, "Thank youu, you look good yourself." I hug him back. He greets everyone else as we walk by, "Imma get a drink I'll be around." Jaylen says in my ear, "Okay I'll be somewhere around here too." He nods kissing my cheek walking off.
