Author's POV

"Are you out of your damn mind?!" The rider snapped out pulling off his black helmet, revealing his messy tousled brunette hair and sharp sage green eyes-icey,cold and gleaming in the dim lights. His face was hard and eyebrows pinched together in irritation.

"What?!" Anya raised her voice annoyed, snapping at him "me?! You almost killed me!" She retorted stomping towards his bike and standing just a few inches away.her arms crossed and her brows furrowed in anger

"You are alive." His voice clipped "maybe you should care to not wander around carelessly next time!" his tone sharp.he ran a hand through his hair.

Anya bristled her irritation getting the better of her "it's not like jumped in front of you on purpose.
You shouldn't be speeding on such a quiet road!" Her voice raised.

Adrian's jaw cleanched, his knuckles whitening as he clutched the helmet in his hand tightly "watch were you are going next time." he retorted through his gritted teeth, his eyes narrowed as he regarded her.

her arms still crossed and she threw him a hard glare. He put back his helmet onn "annoying" he muttered under his breath as he reared the engine again.

"Bitch" she muttered under her breath glaring at him even though his face was covered..

He muttered something under his breath before leaving, running his bike...

My fit for the day ;)

I hushed, finally managing to find the principal's cabin.I had some documents to submit and also prof.James was going to introduce me to his physics class(ps:I hate physics!)but it was a compulsory subject for my subject combinations here at larkspur.I knocked on the rustic wooden door with his name plate embedded on a black sleek plate in a bold font saying "Mr. Edward Arthur Marshall"

"Come in." an authorative voice muffled out and I opened the door.Mr.Edward Marshall was taking a seat on his leather chair his fingers intertwined which rested on the huge glass and wooden desk in front of him,he was one sharp and old respected figure..mr James,my physics professor stood in front of the desk.I greeted them "she's the new transfer student from India" prof said to Mr.marshall and he looked at me with a small comforting smile "maybe he isn't that strict..Hazel was bluffing around at night with her texts" I thought to myself.."Anya Bhatt?" Mr.Marshall asked and I nodded.he gestured me to take a seat and we cleared up the boring and annoying document and 'rules' of the university shit.

I was walking behind prof.james he entered his physics class, taking a deep breath I stepped inside the classroom after him

"Class." His strict yet friendly voice made the chatter of students stop and everyone looked at me...I could hear a group of mean girls already gossiping about me from one corner...
"we have a new transfer student" prof.james started "welcome her, she's Anya, from India." he said and smiled at me..."you can take a seat there, beside Adrian" prof.james pointed out at a seating figure on the second last table who was looking out of the window, a black pen in his hand doing nothing and he turned around, hearing his own name

No ways! Ain't no fucking way!

Sage green eyes! He was the one. The biker who almost flattened me last night! Also the one who missed the show of my curses for him.His sharp gaze held surprise for a flicker until his gaze narrowed ever so slightly, unreadable

Who wants to read his eyes anyways?

Averting my gaze,I let it wander around the classroom,a small genuine smile on my lips which turned into a fake one as soon as I heard a group girls murmuring, eyeing me from head to toe.while others were giving me looks-some curious, some judgemental.

My breath became shallow.

Okay Anya,you've got this!

I looked straight ahead, wearing a new found confidence and walked through the row to my desk which was beside that 'Two-wheel disaster'. Our eyes met once again. Was he.....surprised?

I took a seat on my surprisingly comfortable wooden chair and started taking out my books from my sage green backpack- The fuck!?

I was taken aback, a surge of annoyance and surprise flooding through me as I noticed the smirk playing at the edges of his mouth, barely visible from my peripheral vision. My brows stitched together in annoyance.

I should have cursed him on his face last night cuz rn I'm controlling every muscle of my tongue as to not curse him! Fuck him! Anyways,I don't care...

I focused back on the blackboard where prof. james was writing a disgustingly huge equation,a labyrinth of symbols and numbers on the board..

I looked around and my nerves which were buzzing cuz of the stares I was getting calmed down as soon as I saw those fiery red hair, hazel! She gave me a warm smile which i returned, her desk was just on the right side in the front, diagonally.2 desks in between her and Adrian.

The lazy chatter of students blended with prof. James's stern voice which indicated the class was about to end.

"Adrian" he called out which made him glance up from his book "give her your notes..." And added looking at me "don't forget to take the copies of the last few lectures you've missed."

The lecture wrapped up with a long ring of the bell and collective sighs of students.
A book appeared on my desk and my eyes followed the direction..."thanks" I muttered half heartedly glancing at him.

"So you are familiar with the art of politeness?" His lips holding a faint annoying smirk, completely opposite to his intense sharp gaze.

"I try to keep my manners in check-unlike some people." My tone confident and sarcastic. A silent warning in my equally sharp eyes. Unfazed by him,I started packing up,half of the class already left for lunch in the cafeteria

before I could pack up my things, hazel popped up in front of my eyes, her energy limitless.honestly, she was the only girl who made me smile truly since I moved to the states.
