Stampy's Fight

Chapter 7

After readjusting the portal, Stampy relit it again. This time, the portal needed to be pink, and Stampy was feeling confident.
He was over the moon when he told everyone about the fact they'd be finding their own power soon. They were amazed, and they agreed that Amy's world would make sense enough to test for their powers and make sure they found them.
They had a few hardships getting there though; the portal wouldn't turn the right color. The first few times, the portal didn't even turn a color, it was clear.
Stampy lit the portal, and it went back to its pinwheel.  It stopped and it was clear again, but it turned on as an unsuspecting victim walked through then off instantly.
"Ash?" Squid said. Ash had fallen on the floor when he walked through, and he struggled to get back up. Squid ran over to Ash and pulled his confused best friend off the ground. Ash thanked him quickly, he needed to talk to someone. He had found something incredibly unusual.
Ash looked around the room, scanning for the person he was looking for. He saw Stampy and ran over to him.
"Stampy! I found that I can do something incredible!" he said in amazement.
"I heard about Hit the Target gaining powers and I thought that since all that was going around, I could help you. I was actually just starting to run to your world right now! It would have taken forever to get there, and it seems you shortened my trip!" He said giving a slight laugh. Stampy joined in.
"Ash, you came right in time! We were about to head to Amy's world for a while. " Stampy said. Everyone else nodded in agreement as Stampy made a few more adjustments to the portal.
Stampy walked back a few seconds later, relighting the portal.
It went back to his pinwheel and this time, the color stopped on pink. Everyone cheered, because Stampy had been working on it for at least an hour, longer than it took him to build it to Mousie's World.
As everyone started to get closer to the pink light, Stampy stopped them immediately. He didn't want his friends to be stuck in another world, even though that couldn't happen.
"Let me go in first, just to make sure. " Stampy said with a slight grin. He jumped through the portal to find a house pretty much surrounded by lovely jubblies.  He grinned and rolled his eyes. He was definitely in the right place. Putting half of his body in the portal, he motioned for his friends to come through.
Amy was the last one and she squealed to see her house again. She ran towards her house yelling something about Bert and block staring. Stampy rolled his eyes and grinned at Squid. He rolled his eyes and said in an obvious tone,
"Classic Amy. "
All of them laughed.  Stampy looked up towards the sky to check what time it was. It was late afternoon, moving into the evening, and he had a speech to give.
"Attention everyone!" He said, only gaining the attention of Sqaishey.
"Hello? " He tried again. Sqaishey, rolled her eyes and lost it.
"SHUT IT!" Everyone stared at her shocked. Trying to contain his bubbly laughter, (and failing) Stampy spoke up.
"Okay, guys, I know we're on a thin line, and we need to do this as quick as possible, but we need to set some rules. " Everyone groans, even Amy peeking out her window. She walks out of her house and nods at Stampy, motioning for him to continue.
"I want you to train, but before you do so, you need to find your powers. Once you do, you can train. Another rule is you treat the persons world with respect. If Amy said not to practice on Grandfather tree," He motions towards the tree on his right. "then I wouldn't dream of touching it. Also, no griefing, using their items, or stealing is allowed of any kind." He said, giving Squid a playful glare. Squid responded with a pouty face.
"Of course, I you see anything unusual, let me know immediately. And I'll let the owner set all the other restrictions." Stampy said nodding at Amy.
After listening for about ten minutes of restrictions which was pretty much don't hurt anything that touches the ground, Stampy had one last thing to say.
"You guys must realize that we must travel to other worlds around every five days to cover up our tracks. Hit the Target has probably contacted ALL of your villains it try and catch us or slow us down. So be prepared to fight. And be prepared to run. "
As Stampy finished his mini speech, everyone walked away. Sqaishey was the only one there as he caught her mockingly flicking away tears.
"Oh, your gonna get it now duck," He started, starting to walk closer to her. Sqaishey screamed as she ran, her and Stampy laughing like little kids on the way. Mousie, Amy and Squid were walking together when they run past, giggling like nutters.
"They're gonna kiss. " Amy blurted out suddenly. Mousie and Squid looked at her as if she were crazy.
"Just wait. " she said and gave them a daring look. They all laughed as they walked off.
Sqaishey was beginning to become tired from all if the running and had to stop and sit down on a little hill. She watched as Stampy grew closer as he ran and finally tackled her. They both laughed as they sat straight up, looking at the sun setting over the horizon.
Stampy looked over to Sqaishey and saw something different than his friend. Nothing like he'd seen before. His furry cheeks set fire as Sqaishey noticed him staring. She blushed a bit too as the wing that she was leaning on started to slip on the ground.
Stampy caught her hands just in time before her head hit the ground. He pulled her up, Sqaishey regaining her balance.
Stampy realizing that he was still holding Sqaishey's wings and pulled his arms back, but Sqaishey glanced at him and he grabbed her wing with his paw again, Sqaishey now leaning on Stampy's shoulder.
Stampy knew right there and then that he had feelings for her.
Sqaishey felt the same about Stampy, but neither of them knew it yet.
Stampy opened his mouth to speak, to say he liked her, before shutting it again, losing his courage. He felt his cheeks burn as Sqaishey looked at him, but for what?
Stampy brought his eyes to hers, and instantly got lost in her eyes. Sqaishey felt the same way, and automatically kissed him.
Sparks flew for Stampy, surprised by the sudden action, but kissed her back.
After parting, Sqaishey looked down embarrassed, and opened her mouth for an apology, but Stampy kissed her again, and that time, they both knew it was real. 
They parted and smiled at each other before being startled by a certain girl up the hill yelling "Told you!"
Stampy looked up to see Mousie, Squid and Amy beaming at them. His cheeks turned red, an so did Sqaishey's. Stampy looked at Sqaishey again before rising out of their spot.
"I-" he tried to start.
"Mate, it's alright, you shouldn't be ashamed of love. " Squid smiled.
Stampy smiled back, and turned to Sqaishey. He took her wing in his paws and walked up the hill to Amy's house, starting the peaceful night.
And nothing could get in Stampy's way.
Hit the Target stared at the glass orb amused.
"Stampy will learn one thing. " he said to himself. "This story will not include romance. " he said harshly, smacking the orb off the podium, storming away as it fell to he ground and shattered.

Wasn't even planning to make it a sqampy thing but eh, why not. For the children! And don't forget to say hey what a beautiful day!
