Stampy's Fight

Chapter 9

Stampy woke with a start. He processed everything that happened in the last few days, (months for the others) and looked around the room. Stampy panicked quickly when he realized that his friends were not in the room. He started breathing heavily when Mousie walked into the room.
"They went to find their powers," she giggled as she begged him in her mind that he forgot about last nights conversation.
"Oh. " Stampy facepalmed. He had been on edge for a while, especially now, when they are vulnerable to anything.
"So about last night," he started. Mousie groaned mentally. She shook as she sat down and took a deep breath. Then she started the long story, which included a prophecy. (Told you it'd get cheesy. 😒😂)
"A long while ago, someone made a prophecy claiming that a leader of a world would gain powers, and vanquish evil in several worlds.
"He would have golden hands when he used his power, able to do more than the common wizard, when having a strong emotion overwhelm him.
"Once he vanquished the evil from those worlds, he would vanquish the evil in his.
" It said that he would exert his powers, an defeat evil for good. " Mousie finished, looking terribly nervous and worried. Stampy noticed.
"Well that described me! If I save these worlds from evil... Then how is that bad?" Stampy said confusedly. (I have no clue if that's a word but it is now. )
"Stampy, one does not simply get rid of their powers. " (I'm sorry I had to😂) Mousie said groaning. "If you get rid of your powers, you get rid of yourself!" Mousie half yelled, clearly distressed. It reminded Stampy how he lost his head in Mousie's world. He gave her a small smile.
"Would this-" he said materializing a pumpkin pie in front of her " make you feel better?"
Mousie gave a sad smile.
"Even when we're talking about your grave, you know how to cheer someone up. " Mousie said, tears penetrating her eyes.
Stampy gave her a friendly hug and walked away.
"Now Where is my CAKE?!"he shouted, making the house ring with laughs.

Sorry for such a short chapter but I have been very busy and by busy I mean lazy so yeah sorry guys 😩 I hope you liked it even though it was cheesy, and to make it up to you I'm making the longest chapter yet. It's going to be 3,000 words long. 3000! Longest chapter yet. It will include some romance I promise. I have already got the whole story planned out, and there will be a sequel once this book is done. So don't worry, it will be awesome. Oh, and I made a new account, where I will be posting fan fics and fan fics only on there.
