Stampy silently wept in the room. He didn't have a plan! He didn't want to leave his friends to die, nor did he want to put his dogs in the wrong hands.
After what seemed like an hour, Stampy finally recovered. He stood up, and shook his head, giving himself motivation. Hit the Target was going after Amy? He can't swim as fast as her in the water! She was a mermaid for Henry's sake.
Stampy regained a bit of hope, almost praying that Amy was able to get away. Amy was the only one that knew how to fight well, oddly enough. She had flower power on her side, but in a way she was kinda like the hulk. She had a secret only Stampy knew. If she got mad enough, she could harness the power of the sea. She could control water.
There was also something else about her...something powerful...
Stampy regained a sad smile and started hoping again. There was still hope. There was still hope.
Stampy ran over the chopped down door and ignored the beautiful sounds of nature. He slammed the door open to the outside and started running towards the sea. Stampy suddenly stopped. His heart started hammering in his chest.
Hit the Target was sitting down by the bank. Below the blue water, he could make out an elegant figure with pink hair zooming around the water with a black whispy figure behind her. Stampy wasn't able to move. There was nobody to help him.
Hit the Target was able to capture Sqaishey, Lee, Squid, everyone else, and the only person that could actually defeat him was about to be captured by some whispy black figure.
Stampy started to panic. To his left was the open sea, and to his right was Stampy's Hot Buns. There was nothing that could help him in this case.
He drew his attention back to the water where he just saw the whispy thingy multiply. Well that's just great...
There were now three of them and Amy was really starting to freak out. She squirmed in the water as the...things tried to grab her.
Then, he was just able to make out the smirk on Amy's face as she started rising. As she reached the surface on the island across from Stampy she took out a towel and dried herself off. As she dried, the towel covered her body, and Stampy couldn't see a thing.
The whispy things rose out of the water as Amy put down the towel. But... it wasn't Amy! She had a darker shade of pink hair, a white dress, and, well, legs! Hit the Target, his eyes locked on the island, looked furious. But he also looked confused. Across from him, Stampy saw Amy shrug and point in a random direction. The black whispy things went where she pointed and Hit the Target got up and walked away opposite of Stampy's direction, not knowing that Stampy was ever there.
Stampy's heart kept hammering as he just processed what just happened. He drew his attention back to the strange girl right as she just noticed him. She started waving and pointed to another direction... the direction of his first house. Stampy nodded, even though he was confused. Why did this strange girl want to meet him in his first house? What happened? Stampy questioned himself many times on the way. He passed his love garden, then his theater, then the tree line and he saw his tiny hut in the distance. The strange girl was already there, looking around for Stampy. When their eyes locked she smiled and went inside of the house. Her smile was full of emotion, Stampy thought, a mixture of relief and fear. Stampy passed the small cave by his tiny hut and opened the door to find the girl sitting on the bed in the corner. She beamed at Stampy and Stampy just looked at her blankly.
"So, I guess your wondering what this is about." the girl said who Stampy recognized as Amy's voice right away.
"Amy?!" Stampy said in disbelief. "H-h-how-"
"Stampy, calm down. I can't belive you've never like... read anything on mermaids?"
"No, I mean I did as a child, but I don't anymore! Before you, I though they were just a fairytale!"
"True... okay, so the deal with mermaids is that when they aren't wet, they're human. When they're out of water, but they're kinda damp, we're able to walk in a weird way that you normally see me. And when we're in water, we're a full mermaid."
"Okay, I get it."
"Good." She sighed out of relief that he didn't hafta explain more.
"So what are we going to do about him?"
Amy didn't hesitate. "Well, we need our friends, so lets go get them an-" Amy stopped when she saw the sad look on Stampy's face.
"He...he took them, didn't he?" Amy said with a mixture of sadness and anger. Stampy slowly nodded, then proceeded to tell her what he had found out. Stampy found that Amy was a very good listener, and he was grateful, because if Squid was the only one left, then they would be doomed. After Stampy was done, Amy started to tell him about what she had learned about Hit the Target.
After Amy finished, Stampy processed all of the information he was given. It wasn't much but it was helpful. Basically Hit the Target was able to gain magic somehow and that's how he planed to capture everyone because those whisp thingies were able to outsmart all of the others and capture them. And that's what the whisps were. They looked like his friends. That's how Hit the Target found her. She thought Squid was just going for a swim and was going to say hi. But it was an evil whispy thing. She didn't know it was Hit the Target until she was near the surface and saw a quick glimpse of him.
"And the rest is what you saw." Amy eneded his thoughts. Stampy once again, started to feel hopeless. If Hit the Target had magic, he would be more dangerous than ever.
Him and Amy chatted for a while to lighten the mood. Then Stampy had an idea. And for the first time today, he felt completely confident.
