I get out of the car slamming the door shut.

"Bye." I shout, though I doubt Josh can hear me through the window and over his loud pumping music. I sigh and turn on my heel. I stride into school deciding on going to the football pitch. Jocks seem to be everywhere this morning. Cheerleaders are practicing their acrobatics doing flips in their short skirts. I stride straight past them in the direction of the astro. The walk there is quick soon enough I'm striding along the stands.

"Ella!" Charlotte screeches. Everybody turns to look at me. Even the guys kicking the football about on the field. I catch his eye. How could I not? His blue eyes are piercing. His blond hair is hanging across his forehead in a gorgeous way. I wave at him. He smirks at me. That smirk. I blush. "Hello Ella!" I snap my eyes away from my Mr and turn my attention to Charlotte. "We're talking about going to the skate park later, you up for it?"

"Sure sounds good, can I meet you down there though I didn't bring any clothes?" I ask taking a seat in the stands. Charlotte takes her seat next to me and puts her feet up on the seats in front.

"Ok just don't take forever." She agrees. I roll my eyes.

"I don't take forever!" I scoff. Charlotte gives me a look which says 'you believe that hun.' "Fine I promise I won't. Can I drag Luke along?" It feels like it's been so long since I've hung out at the skate park. I've been spending most of my time with Luke. Not very good balancing, replaying back to all the signs of a healthy relationship which we got in health class last year. What I need is for Luke and my friends to become friends and then we can all hang out together.

"Uh sure, if you think that he'd be okay with it. Just warning you, Leah invited Adam." Adam? I shrug my shoulders.
"They have football practice together so they'll have to move on at some stage. I've forgiven Luke, I will try and forgive Adam." I say bravely, mainly convincing myself instead of Charlotte.

"That's my girl." Charlotte mutters hugging me. I hug her back. Releasing each other I turn to look at the match. Bailey scores. The boys erupt into uproar shouting and leaping around. I laugh. Bailey is perched up on Luke and Kyle's shoulders as they parade him around while people congratulate him.

"Where's Leah?" I ask once the game plays again.

"I haven't seen her. She's not sick though." Charlotte answers thoughtfully.

"Probably with one of the jocks." I joke wiggling my fingers. Charlotte smiles brushing her curls out of her face.

"Probably." She answers. I pull my socks up higher and brush off my skirt although there's nothing on it. Just then arms swing around me trapping me in my seat. The arms are long and fit around me perfectly.

"Euhh get off of me. You're all hot and sweaty."

"I agree with hot, a lot of people have told me that, but sweaty? That's a bit judgemental don't you think?" I seat his arms away from me. For gods sake he's just been running around a pitch since 7:30.

"Well why don't you go and hug one of those people then?" I suggest playfully. He nestles his head into my neck, his hot breath sending shivers down my spine and making my breath catch in my throat.

"Baby. Don't be like that!" He whispers in my ear. He places a soft kiss there on the sensitive skin behind my ear. I sigh. I'm only slightly aware of Charlotte next to me looking at me as if I'm a bully or something.
