I made my way back to Mr. Gaunt's normal office and noticed my sudden change of emotions.

Was this really my final goodbye to Sebastian? The lump in my throat welled up, and I needed to take a deep breath. You fucking hate him, I told myself sternly. I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!

My body squeezed between the moving bookcase and the normal one. I left the candle in the other room, so it was really dark in here, and I didn't have my wand.

My head leaned to the bookcase and I sighed deeply. Tears started to gather in my eyes, I told Sebastian I loved him. Without the alcohol intoxicating me this time. Never have I said I love you to a man before. At least not if you count that one time with Marvolo, but what I felt for Sebastian was beyond control.

And maybe there's a slight difference between hating Sebastian because I despise his very being... And hating him because I love him when I want to hate him.

Like he was a personal mirror and I felt like I was looking at my own reflection. An equal partner as stubborn, ignorant and insufferable as me. Untangled and passionate when were close. Wanting to walk away from the other and still feeling like we need to mend things right. Even when the hate and rage towards each other was lingering under our skin, we couldn't help but still caring for the other.

"Did you found what you were looking for, darling?" An old man voice spoke to me.

Fear struck me by the notice I wasn't alone in the office, shit, I was caught. Again with this nickname towards me?

A small light turned on to my left and there sat Mr. Gaunt at his desk sipping on his glass of whiskey holding a sigaret.

"Since you and Mr Sallow were suddenly gone at the event downstairs. I knew something was up right away once my second hand told me you both left. Surely I had my suspicions, but it didn't occur me to find you by just yourself, miss Delgado" and he took a sip while his eyes lingered on me sinister and heavy.

"I needed some-" "save it Angelina" He interrupted while he held his hand high for me to stop talking.

He stood up and leaned over his desk as he made a moving wave to the chair, "sit down!" He commanded.

I hurriedly made my way to the chair and sat down elegantly. There wasn't any emotion forming on his face, and I wondered if he even had them... "I'm starting to think I didn't make myself very clear to you during our lovely dance-" He continued.

"I know about your past, Mr. Gaunt!" I interfered to him now.

A low deep chuckle escaped his mouth, "clarify me darling, what do you think you know then?"

"I know about your Hogwarts days with my mother and Sebastian's father. That you went there together! I'm not some foolish girl like you think I am. I found the pictures of you three"

He poured another drink for himself and took a second glass and filled it as well, "every witch or wizard had visited Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry since it the largest school. And some visited the other two familiar ones, like beauxbatons or drumstrang." And he handed me the glass. "Have a drink with me" and Mr. Gaunt leaned against the desk with an outstretched arm.

I didn't take the glass he handed me and shook my head, "no, thank you!" He gestured again for me to take it, "don't be rude, darling, you can't make me drink on my own tonight. Come on!" My hand didn't even move, "I said NO!" A bit of arrogance in my voice.

A faint smile on his face, "it's not very ladylike to decline a man's gentle offer. So take the drink, or I'll call in someone who poor it in for you. Your call..."
