Part 2 - Another Gaunt

In the morning after that worse nightmare, i tried to eat something in the great hall. My appetite was anything but cooperating with the fact that i needed to get my nutrition. Today was a very busy school day and i needed my energy for my first Quidditch practice. I was invited by Imelda Reyes, she trained the new players before they could attend their first game.

On my plate lay an egg in a heart shape and some toast to the side. I pushed my plate aside and looked at the person in front of me. It was Anne who was eating like she didn't have some in weeks.

''can you relax for a bit?'' i sighed as i gave her a worried expression. She stuffed another piece of toast into her mouth as she smiled, ''I can't! i have to hurry if i want to see Sebastian before his training!''

Oh, yeah! That's right, Sebastian Sallow is the team captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team.

I almost forgot that..

''I'm not sure if it's a good idea for me to join that Quidditch practice today..'' I said nervous. Anne smashed her fork and knife onto the table and looked at me if i just died ''Are you joking!? Come on, Ella, you can do this! Don't let these dickheads like my brother stand in your way. You are superior in flying, better use it for extra school points. Besides.. You probably won't even have to talk to him!''

My face turned to my left to the other end of the Slytherin table where the particular dickhead sat with his friends Ominis Gaunt, James Pinch-Smedley the brother of Grace and Lewis Hughes. They were laughing and pointing to the 5th year girls that just arrived in the great hall. Disgusting pigs.

I wondered why Ominis hang out with them, he was anything but disgusting. If i should Label Ominis, i would give him the words kind and gentle. But i guess he hanged out with the boys because he was scared to get beaten or bullied because of his blindness.

Anne tapped my hand in comfort ''You will be alright, show them what you got! i see you later girl'' I kindly smiled at her and took a sip of my morning coffee with a lot of pressure.

My head followed Anne to her brother as she sat smiling next to him as she pointed to something at the table. She handed him a small brown parcel , and i knew exactly what it was. Anne told me all about her Golden snitch pin she bought for him, to wish him good luck with his first game since years. He hugged her tight and pinned it on his black Slytherin robe. He smiled back and took a bite of his own toast as he tried to speak to her.

I glanced back at my coffee and the heart shaped egg on my plate, and I pushed my fork into it. I ripped it in two separate pieces and took a bite of my toast, i hate love and everything around it.

When i stood up from my seat, i walked to the exit of the grand hall. My face down to the ground to avoid people from looking at me like i was a carnival attraction.

And then i felt it again, that burning feeling on my body that i felt last night in my nightmare.

I lifted my head up to meet his stare at me as i walked by slow as his eyes darted over me. Sebastian's expression was emotion less and empty, like i was a ghost. I quickly hurried faster to the doors and ran to my common room.
