Eloise was back in the tournament building. Every wall was covered in sekai taika posters and banners with the different dojos logo and name hung from the upstairs railing.

"The time has come" the announcer spoke "welcome to our first event I hope you're all well rested and ready for a new and unique competition we call it the 'captains war' We told you how important the captains will be so let's see how well you protect them. 4 dojos will take the mat only one will be left standing if you hit the mat you're out if one of your captains hit the mat your entire team is out for this round check the board to see your group"

Eloise zoned out the rest of what he was saying looking at all the students trying to find one in particular - she found him already staring back at her, she sent a small smile his way which he returned Axel looked at her the way she assumed all girls wanted to be looked at

"Group A your up"  Eloise attention was drawn to the board which had her dojo name as well as Axel she sent a wink his way before turning back to her dojo "uh okay Eloise I know we said you'd just be used as backup but I'm gonna ask you to fight this round just so we can get a leg up on the other teams" Eloise father patted her shoulder as he explained to her "yes okay that's fine"

Eloise stepped on the mat huddled with her group discussing a plan "okay so obviously we're gonna protect the egg let then come to us" Miguel said "but Tory she knows our plan wouldn't we want to switch it up?" Devon asked "no let's just stick to what we've practiced don't want to go messing it up in the last second" Eloise said answering her "I can be on the front line" Eloise shared a nervous glance with Miguel "no just stay back and stay focused" "why wouldn't I be focused" "you did leave the hotel room last night" "okay now's not the time let's just focus please"

"Ready begin"

Cobra Kai came after them first Eloise trying her hardest to stay by Sam and protect the egg, Eloise saw each of her teammates one by one get thrown out

An opponent came after her sending a kick her way which she blocked, she sent a clean strike his way making him stumble before throwing a kick at her stomach Eloise grunted in pain she composed herself taking after her dad she used a crane kick to knock out her opponent

"Let's go Eloise, protect sam"

Eloise ran towards Sam who was fighting Tory "what the hell are you doing here?" Eloise sent a rising punch towards Tory "fighting let's go" tory blocked another one of Eloise punches and kicks "I'm not fighting you" after a few more strikes getting blocked by Tory Eloise began to get frustrated and tired "cmon Tory no mercy" Tory glanced back from her coaches "sorry Eloise" Tory sent a roundhouse kick at her when she wasn't fully prepared to block it making Eloise fall backwards

"Eloise larusso from Miyagi do is out she put up a fair fight against her opponent Tory nichols from cobra Kai, we still have a few more members from iron dragon in the mix as well"

Eloise walked back to her team standing next to Devon watching Sam and Robby intently "omg no Robby not in his A game he can't go against Kwon" "he said he got it" "yea but he doesn't got it"

Eloise saw the boys began fighting kwon putting Robby in a chock hold almost instantly before throwing him to the ground - a buzzer rang letting us know a captain was out

"Captain down" the announcer spoke "miyagi do is out"

"I fucken told you" Eloise was visibly upset but she put on a smile before going to high five Miguel and Sam "good job out there" "yea you too you held Tory off for a while" Sam said catching her breath "yea cause she wasn't fighting back I would've been on my ass a lot sooner if she would've fought me back instantly"

"Only cobra Kai and the iron dragons remain"

"Isn't that you man" Devon said looking at Eloise, Eloise rolled her eyes but watched intently as the iron dragons seemed to have their own routine

Even with 2 guys on him Axel was able to take them down one by one with no trouble, to say Eloise was impressed was an understatement she was in disbelief even Tory couldn't win against the smaller girl "damn I joined the wrong dojo" Daniel took a glance at his daughter hearing her comment to which she quickly clarified she was joking

"Both cobra Kai captains go down the iron dragons win" there was cheering through out the building Eloise only focus was Axel who didn't even take a minute taking down his competition

"Let's go to the locker room get our stuff then we could figure out what to do" Johnny said leading everyone back to the locker room

Eloise changed out of her karate gi quickly rushing past the boys "Eloise where are you going we're going to practice" Daniel yelled "I'll work on it later I promise"

Eloise waited outside of the iron dragon locker room pretending to be causally standing there as all of the team walked out not bating a lash her way. she saw axel walk out

"Axel" Eloise said excitedly catching his attention "Eloise what are you doing here" "I just wanted to say good job on winning the first challenge you literally took down kwon and Yoon so easily and their so hard to beat when they're one on one but together omg I was actually shocked" Axel liked seeing this side of her, she was soo happy you could see her entire face lit up with excitement "Thank you Eloise"

Axel and Eloise walked towards the exit together "uh can I ask you something" Eloise nodded turning to face him "would you want to get lunch right now?"

"Right now?" Axel panicked seeing a doubt in her face "uh no not right now right now but" Eloise cut him off "no I mean I'd love to go right now but I'd want to get ready first I mean I'm in workout clothes" Axel looked her up and down cursing under his breath about how gorgeous she looked "no i understand does 4 work?" Eloise nodded with a smile on her face
