Eloise stood in the lobby talking with hawk about how they were so relieved cobra Kai had lost
"To be honest the way Robby was acting I didn't have much hope for us" Eloise let out a small laugh "no i completely agree but im glad he came through if not it would be us leaving" hawk looked around feeling someone stare at him "does he have a fucken staring problem" Eloise turned around to see Axel staring at hawk more like glaring "I don't know just ignore him" hawk brushed Eloise off walking towards Axel, "what the hell are you doing stop" Eloise grabbed his arm pulling him away from the lobby
Axel had secretly hoped hawk would of came over here cause then he'd get to hear Eloise voice, he longed to hear it even if she used it to yell at him
"Attention" the intercom from above was heard "all dojos convene immediately in the main lobby including those who have been eliminated"
The hotel lobby was filled with so many people Eloise felt a little anxious and just wanted to go back to her room
"My apologies for summoning you all like this but under the circumstances it was necessary the sekai taikai has a long and honorable tradition we fight hard and we fight fair that's why im saddened to announce that one of the dojos here has tarnished that tradition by cheating"
Hawk leaned down to Eloise ear whispering "Ten bucks it's your man dojo" Eloise rolled her eyes "you're on"
"Sensei ivanov" the entire room turned to look at the Russian sensei "four of your students have tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs"
"My $10 please" Eloise held out her hand hawk rolled his eyes but nonetheless gave it to her "I was this close"
"You are hereby eliminated" the sensei got visibly angry "what the hell are you talking about?"
Eloise had an idea pop into her head "hawk" "hm" Eloise thought against telling him since he had already gone crazy over thinking Kenny was a mole "What if this was silvers plan?"
"Axel the invincible and Sam Tory chapter a billion it's less then ideal" Eloise was worried no one had ever gone against Axel and won she was even scared for Axel knowing if he lost his sensei would probably beat him half to death
Eloise sat at the top of the stairs next to Devon bored from the millionth pep talk her sensei were about to give
"Screw this horseshit man how many times do we have to kill that son of a bitch before he stays dead" Johnny yelled "kreese is like a cockroach but he is not one fighting on mat"
"Sensei chozen's right we have the rest of the day to tune up for tomorrow" Eloise knew that meant they were actually going to have to train hard today which she was not looking forward to
"Senseis need time to discuss go get changed meet me at the gym" Eloise along with everyone else got up walking down the stairs, heading to their rooms to get changed
The sun was shinning feeling like a hundred degrees as the students gathered at the beach, the morning air crisp and filled with anticipation. Daniel, determined and focused, led the group through their warm-up exercises. They began with a series of dynamic stretches, loosening their muscles and preparing for the intense workout ahead.
"Alright, everyone, let's start with some basics," Daniel called out, his voice firm yet encouraging. "Front kicks, go!"
The students moved in unison, their kicks sharp and precise. Daniel moved among them, correcting stances and offering words of motivation. "Remember, power comes from the hips. Keep your form tight."
Next, they transitioned into a series of push-ups and sit-ups, the open air echoing with the sound of their exertion. Sweat began to bead on their foreheads, but they pushed through, driven by chosen relentless energy.
"Now, pair up for sparring drills," Johnny instructed. The students quickly found partners, and the air was soon filled with the sounds of controlled punches and kicks. The senseis watched closely, offering pointers and demonstrating techniques.
As the session neared its end, Johnny gathered the group for a final round of high-intensity interval training. They moved through a circuit of burpees, jump squats, and shadowboxing, each exercise pushing them to their limits.
"Great work today, everyone," Daniel said, his voice filled with pride. "Remember, it's not just about physical strength, but mental toughness too. Keep pushing yourselves."
The students, though exhausted, felt a renewed sense of determination. They knew that under all their senseis guidance, they were becoming stronger and more resilient.
"And now the moment you've all been waiting for the Sekai Taikai tournament of champions"
Eloise lined up with the rest of her team listening to the announcer explain the rules
"Ladies and gentlemen competitors and senseis please welcome to the mat our first semifinalist"
Kwon and Diego went up first Eloise watched them fight not being much of a fight
Finally after a few boring matches the one Eloise had been waiting for Robby vs Axel
Robby struck first flying at Axel but not getting any hits in every move Robby attempted to do it's like Axel could predict it therefore it wasn't much of a fight
"His defense is on point, Robby can't get through" Daniel sighed obviously frustrated hawk leaned over whispering in Eloise ear "I know how we could make him distracted" "shut up I'm trying to watch"
"Axel" sensei wolf called out to him Axel turned towards him wolf yelled something in Chinese but that seemed to flip a switch in Axel
Axel leapt forward kicking Robby in the back twisting his arm and repeatedly punching him in the lower chest one swift punch toward Robby face had him spitting out blood
Eloise was honestly a little frightened she had never seen him behave so violent even tho she had watched him fight countless times
Robby defended himself blocking everything Axel was sending his way making Axel more and more frustrated "are you going to keep defending or are you going to fight" Axel threw him into the cobra Kai who elbowed his side
Miguel walked up to defend Robby only to be knocked down by Axel . Hawk walked up to him pushing him "what the hell is your problem huh" Axel didn't say anything only pushing hawk back
"Guys stop" Eloise grabbed hawks arm pulling him away which he just brushed off the air was tense with everyone wanting to start a fight "Axel back off" Axel looked towards Eloise his face softening before he gave hawk one final shove and then walked away with Eloise hot on his tail
"What the hell is your problem?" Eloise grabbed his arm forcing him to stop walking and look at her "you end things with me and then want to glare at hawk bumping into him and being extra hard on robby" Axel didn't say anything just stared at her instead "do you even care that your hurting me?" Eloise scoffed ready to walk away when he grabs her arm "do I even care? Of course I care it's hurting ME to see you like that"
"Everyone off the mat now or this tour-" the announcer didn't have a chance to finish as he was knocked out by sensei ivanov
