"Eloise your phone" Devon hit the back of Eloise head before rolling over to face the other way

"Eloise answer the damn phone" Sam yelled throwing a pillow her way Eloise finally sighed picking up her phone from the night stand seeing it was Axel she answered right away "Axel is everything okay?" "I need you to meet me at this cafe I've sent you the address" the line went dead after that
Eloise now a little worried quickly shot up from bed, she opened the dresser pulling out any outfit and throwing on some shoes before running out of the hotel (she ate a piece of gum yall sorry)
When she arrived at the cafe it was hardly even sunrise so not many people were around she walked inside being greeted by the barista and seeing the only other person in there was Axel
"Is everything okay?" Eloise stood in front of him "Eloise sit down please" Axel seemed distant the feeling of butterflies came to Eloise's stomach not the good kind they were more like moths she had only felt this way one other time when Miguel fell off the stairs at school and she was at the hospital waiting for any updates
"Eloise SIT, now" Axel slightly raised his voice before calming himself down Eloise finally sat down seeing he was serious "I love you" Eloise had a shocked look on her face she was so worried she was waiting for bad news but this was good right ? "Axel oh my god you scared me I thought something bad was going to happen" Eloise smiled relieved as she let go of a breath she didn't know she was holding
"It's because I love you that I want to keep you safe" there it was "Right I would hope so" Eloise reached across the table grabbing Axel hand which he swiftly pulled away "Eloise we can no longer see each other" "wait what I don't understand" Eloise began to panic feeling her face getting hot
"I need to focus on winning and then I'm going home I don't have time for a relationship I can't get held down by you" Axel heart skipped a beat seeing the look on Eloise face , she looked so defeated "I'm holding you down?" "Yes"
"Eloise it's-" "shut the fuck up" Eloise stood up walking to the restroom she walked to the sink counter looking at her reflection stare back at her "what the fuck"
Eloise wanted to cry but she knew better then to let a boy be the reason she was crying, she took many deep breathes feeling her chest get heavy before she walked back towards the table to see it empty and a $20 bill on the table
A few hours later Eloise was laying in her hotel bed after ranting to Devon and Sam about what happened earlier for the thousandth time
