Eloise was beyond ecstatic she was in her hotel room straightening her hair as Devon laid on the bed watching her
"So where you guys going?" Eloise shrugged "no idea" "not to be a buzz kill but what if he kills you?" Eloise turned around to face her "really Devon" "I'm just being for real I mean what do we even know about him"
Eloise thought it over and knowing Devon was particularly right but nonetheless she pushed any doubt she had out of her mind knowing she could handle herself if he tried anything
Almost 30 minutes later a knock was heard on the girls door Eloise went to open it peeking through the peep hole noticing it was Axel she quickly opened the door "omg hi what are you doing here I thought we were gonna meet somewhere" she scanned over his outfit seeing him in dark jeans and a white shirt with a jacket on
"I wanted to pick you up from your room" Eloise smiled "okay let me just grab my shoes come in" Axel stepped in scanning over the room "don't mind the mess, this is Devon and my sister Sam" Axel waved at them while Eloise sat down on the bed trying to put on her shoes "so Axel are you going to kill Eloise?" Devon asked making Eloise look back at her "no"
The ride to the restaurant was quiet seeing as neither Eloise or axel like to talk in front of people rather just wait till their alone to converse knowing they had all the time in the world to talk
When they got inside the restaurant Axel held the door open for Eloise and even tucked in her chair when she sat down
"Hi I'm Emily I'll be your waiter what could I get started for you?" Eloise looked towards the waiter "Diet Coke please" "water" the waiter nodded writing their drinks down "okay I'll be right back"
"Water? You're no fun" Eloise teased "always have to stay in shape for practice sensai would be mad if he knew I drank something else" "omg speaking of your so good at karate" Eloise said remember his performance from earlier
"I'm just saying if karate doesn't work out you could totally join WWE" Axel looked at her with confusion "fake wrestling?" "Okay maybe not but you could definitely be a sensai then" Axel shook his head
The waiter came back with their drinks "are you all ready to order" Axel looked towards Eloise who nodded "yes we are" "okay great let's start with you sir" "I'll have a salmon and white rice" "okay excellent and you" "hmm I want a steak with shrimp and mash potatoes please" the waiter nodded taking their menu from them and leaving
"Sooo Axel can I ask you something" Axel nodded "anything" Eloise took this as her opportunity "so how many dates have you been on in your entire life?" "I don't really think that's an appropriate topic to talk about on a date"
Eloise blushed slightly realizing he's considering this a date "no it is why would I want to potentially start something with someone if I didn't know this stuff now come on answer" Axel sighed drinking water "I've been on no first dates never had time with karate practice" Eloise loved that answer "what about you?"
"None" Axel was in shock "what? Not even with big spike hair?" Eloise let out a small laugh already knowing who he was referring to "you mean hawk? No way and he has a girlfriend" "he likes you"
The waiter came dropping off their food before leaving again
"Omg look how good this looks" Eloise picked up her fork and knife getting ready to cut her steak "slide your plate over so I can cut it for you" Eloise looked confused "I can do it myself thank you" "I know you can but let me"
As Axel cut her steak Eloise just admired him "so how did you get into karate" Eloise was pulled out of her thoughts with that question "it's a long story" "I have time"
After sitting in the restaurant talking about anything and everything the two teens had finally quieted down and were now enjoying the comfortable silence
"Come on eat up" Eloise looked down at her plate then at Axel confused "I did look at my plate" Axel shook his head "no you played with your food and talked I never once saw you put the fork into your mouth" Eloise scoffed "maybe you were focused on something else when I did" "I'd never focus on something else when you're in the room"
After Eloise ate almost all of her food Axel paid for their dinner guiding Eloise out of the restaurant
"Aww I'm sooo sad the nights ending" Eloise said with a pouty look on her face "come on we can go for desert there a market over there" Axel put his hand on her lower back guiding her to the market
"Hm everything here looks so cute look at that ring I love it" Eloise admired one of the rings in a booth "want me to buy it for you" Eloise laughed at Axel cute accent and how he said that sentence so casual "no I'm okay come on let's keep going"
Eloise had found a booth that was selling homemade donuts "how much?" "For pretty girl I sell $3" Eloise reached inside her purse but Axel had already placed a $5 bill on the table "I could've paid it's only $3" "exactly so why would I let you pay?" "Cause you had already paid for dinner"
Eloise found a table nearby with one seat "you can sit Eloise" Eloise felt bad Axel had paid for dinner and tip which he had no idea he had to do and paid for her donut which was the bare minimum but he was the sweetest so she still felt guilty "no it's fine you can sit" Axel sat down without a second thought he was pulling Eloise down to his lap "is this okay" Eloise smiled turning as red as a tomato "yes it's perfect"
Eloise attempted to eat her donut but her hair was flying all over the place with the night time wind coming in "uh I wish I had brought a hair tie" Axel grabbed all her hair in his hand allowing Eloise to eat her donut comfortably
"Here I saved you a piece" Eloise went to feed Axel who shook his head "no junk food for me" "I just ate a whole donut you're betraying me right now" "but you looked sooo gorgeous" Axels eyes went wide realizing what he said "thank you now it's your turn I'm sure your abs of steel won't vanish with one piece" Eloise brought the donut closer to his mouth as he tilted his head further and further back "come on" finally he opened his mouth to eat it "finalllly"
They walked around the market more till finally Eloise realized they both needed to get sleep for tomorrow especially Axel but he didn't seem to mind losing sleep if it meant getting to hangout with Eloise for even just a second longer
"Thanks for walking me back" "no problem" Axel and eloise both began looking around finding every part of the walls and ceiling so interesting ,Eloise wasn't sure if he was going to kiss her or if she should just walk inside but she didn't want to regret it so when Axel eye finally met hers again she pulled him in by his jacket her lips landing on his, Axel arms instinctively snaking around her waist while Eloise hands found his hair after a few minutes they both pulled away
