We broke the kiss, and I whimpered at the loss of contact as my lips instantly went dry.
 
Yes, I was the bride. 
 
With the help of the money I normally receive from hacking the Reece bank account, I was able to hire watchers to kidnap Evelyn a few hours before the wedding began.
 
And well, I guess it was all for the best since Evelyn wasn't even into the wedding in the first place. I had paid the watchers to rent a comfortable room for her and make sure she was probably fed.
 
After which, I had changed into her dress and spread her scent all over me. 
 
"Do you, Evelyn Darren, take Alpha Reece Blood Moon for your lawful husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part? To love and to honor him all the days of your life." The priest stated, pulling me back to reality.
 
I nodded. "Yes, I do."
 
Wait What?
 
Reece was my groom. I had just gotten married to my worst nemesis without realizing. Gosh, if only I had known he was the stronger Alpha, then I wouldn't have even bothered asking for his help.
 
Reece stated his vows, and we kissed once more as the crowd broke out in cheers and whistles.
 
"I will be introducing you to a few guests. Aren't you going to take off the veil?" He prodded, pulling me towards the Alpha of my pack. 
 
I shook my head, a sign for no.
 
"Congratulations, Reece; I'm so happy you've finally decided to settle down." My Pack Alpha let out, as they did a weird handshake.
 
Darren strode over to us, engulfing me in a tight hug. It took everything in me not to throw up. Darren irritated and irked me so much.
 
Darren pulled away after what felt like forever, as his gray eyes pierced sharply at me.
 
"Take off your veil; the wedding has ended." He blurted, as I instantly tensed up, and heat rose to my face.
 
"I think she's okay; besides, not everyone loves to be starred at by a thousand people." Reece stated, As relief instantly flooded me, and my heart rate became steady.
 
Darren doesn't take his eyes off me for a while. I wonder if he suspected I'm not Evelyn. No, that couldn't be possible; we had the same body size, and I had spread her scent all over me.
 
"Let's talk". He called out, leading Reece and me towards an isolated seat, away from the crowd.
 
"You could take off your veil now; no one is watching." Darren growled, his gaze flicked over mine, as the hairs on the back of my neck stood. What the hell was wrong with this man?
 
"I think she's comfortable." Reece came to my rescue once more. "You said you wanted us to talk." He snapped, his voice laced with raw hate. He must really despise Darren as much as I did, but then why marry his daughter?
 
"Yes, concerning our deal. I have come up with a plan on how we could lure the shapeshifter demon into my pack and defeat him. But my plan might take some time, maybe a month." Darren growled as Reece brows crested.
 
"A month. You think we could use a month to defeat the shapeshifter demon? someone whom even our predecessors had spent years trying to defeat.".
 
"Well, for one, they never teamed together like we are, so yes, I have faith we could defeat him in a month.".
 
"I just hope things worked out well, because the only thing stopping me from snapping off your stupid head is our deal." Reece murmured, but due to wolf-hearing abilities, Darren and I both heard him.
 
Darren let out a chuckle, a bitter one.
 
"Is a good thing I equally planned on doing the same once our deal ended? I will write to you, Evelyn." He stated this before standing up and leaving.
 
I contemplate revealing my true identity to Reece and why I had done the swap, but I decide against it. Reece despised Darren so much, and if I were to tell him Darren planned on killing him, he wouldn't hesitate before snapping off Darren's head. I couldn't afford for that to happen, at least not when I have learned about their deal and the reason for this marriage.
 
I was going to reveal my true identity to Reece, but not today, only after the one month has expired and Darren has helped defeat the shapeshifter demon. In the main time, I just had to keep up the act as Darren's daughter while protecting Reece's life against any threat from Darren.
