P.S. I was long out, so here is compensating chapter for me being out.....yall I am having snow in my country today, so NOICE.....

The vibrant lights of the venue danced like fireflies against the night sky as Chan prepared for his performance. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation, the audience's energy electrifying. For the first time in a long while, he felt completely alive, buoyed by the excitement of what lay ahead.

His track, a blend of haunting melodies and fierce lyrics, had become a sensation, resonating deeply with listeners. Tonight was not just a performance; it was a celebration of his hard work and determination. He had transformed into the handsome bad boy he had always envisioned himself to be —a confident, charismatic figure who would break hearts as easily as he strummed a guitar. The sleek outfit he wore hugged his form, emphasizing the sharp lines of his physique, and he caught his reflection in the mirror one last time, a glimmer of pride flickering in his eyes.

As he stepped onto the stage, the roar of the crowd enveloped him like a warm embrace. Thousands of faces blurred into a sea of excitement, and for a moment, all his worries melted away. He took a deep breath, letting the adrenaline course through him as he stepped into the spotlight, guitar slung across his shoulder.

The opening chords rang out, and Chan poured his heart into the song. Each note carried his emotions, the highs and lows of his journey woven into the fabric of his performance. The audience sang along, their voices blending with his, creating a symphony of connection that filled the air.

Backstage, Felix stood watching, arms crossed and a bemused smirk playing on his lips. The coldness he had so expertly maintained began to thaw as he watched Chan on stage. There was something magnetic about the way Chan moved, the way he captivated the audience. Felix's sharp features softened, his gaze drawn to the genuine passion radiating from the young man.

He couldn't help but feel a flicker of something—admiration, perhaps, or maybe a pang of envy at the raw emotions Chan expressed so freely. He felt the chasm within himself grow, a painful reminder of the emotions he had buried deep inside.

As the final chords reverberated through the venue and the applause thundered around him, Chan felt a rush of euphoria. He took a moment to soak in the energy, the cheers washing over him like waves. This was the moment he had dreamed of, and it was everything he had hoped for.

Backstage, Han rushed toward him as he stepped off the stage, a bottle of champagne in hand. "You did it, Chan! That was amazing!" he exclaimed, pulling Chan into a tight hug.

"Thanks, Han!" Chan beamed, the excitement still coursing through him. "I can't believe it went so well!"

Jin joined them, his eyes sparkling with admiration. "You were incredible, Chan! I told you that you could do this!"

As they opened the champagne bottle, laughter filled the air, and Chan felt grateful for the support of his friends. They clinked their glasses together, celebrating this milestone in Chan's career. The moment felt surreal, like a dream he never wanted to wake up from.

But as the revelry continued, Chan's gaze drifted toward the staircase leading to the exit. He caught a glimpse of a familiar figure making his way down, his heart skipping a beat. It was Felix, his expression unreadable as he moved through the crowd.

"Excuse me for a sec," Chan said, suddenly feeling the urge to follow him. He pushed through the throng of people, the noise fading into the background as he made his way toward Felix.

"Felix!" Chan called out, his voice cutting through the chatter. Felix paused and turned, his icy demeanor still intact.

"You look decent tonight," Felix remarked, a hint of sarcasm in his tone, but Chan detected something else—a flicker of warmth hidden beneath the surface.

"Thanks," Chan replied, unable to suppress the smile that spread across his face. "I just wanted to say how grateful I am for everything. Your support has meant a lot to me."

Felix's expression shifted, and for the first time, Chan witnessed a genuine smile break through the facade. It was brief, almost imperceptible, but it lit up Felix's features in a way that made Chan's heart race.

"Don't mention it," Felix replied, his voice softer now, the walls he had built around himself momentarily faltering. "You earned this."

As the moment lingered, Chan felt a connection spark between them, one that defied the boundaries of their complicated relationship. But before he could say anything else, Felix turned to leave.

"Wait!" Chan called, urgency lacing his tone.

Felix paused, looking over his shoulder with that same cold detachment, but Chan could see the shift, the vulnerability just beneath the surface.

"Can we talk more sometime?" Chan asked, his heart pounding in his chest. "I'd like to... I don't know, share a drink or something."

Felix regarded him with a calculating gaze, the smirk returning to his lips. "Maybe," he said, his tone teasing but his eyes betraying a flicker of interest. "But don't get your hopes up. I don't mix business with pleasure."

With that, he walked away, disappearing into the crowd. Chan stood there for a moment, his heart racing, the thrill of the encounter flooding through him.

He returned to Han and Jin, who were still celebrating. The night felt like a turning point—a moment of clarity amidst the chaos of his emotions. He was on the cusp of something significant, not just in his career but also in his relationship with Felix.

"Everything okay?" Han asked, noticing Chan's distracted expression.

"Yeah," Chan replied, a smile tugging at his lips. "Better than okay, actually. I think... I think I'm starting to figure things out."

As the three friends raised their glasses again, Chan felt a renewed sense of determination swelling within him. The night was still young, and with each sip of champagne and each laugh shared, he realized that he was ready to embrace whatever came next—both on stage and off.
