Louise laid on her bed, covers thrown around her in a messy fashion and a pillow on top of her face. Her pink bunny ears fell onto the floor as she jostled back and forth, trying endlessly to get comfortable. A loud 'BEEP BEEP' interrupted her pointless attempts at trying to get back to sleep. Her tiny fist reached out and slammed on top of the clock, silencing on impact.
Slowly, Louise dragged herself upright to face the clock that ruined her, quite uncomfortable, rest. It proudly shone 7:00 am at her tired eyes, blinding her.
Getting up she began to stretch off, trying to get use to how her body was rejecting the time of day. While wiping the sleep from her eyes she struggled to remember why she would ever wake up at this time. Looking at the wall a calendar was hung up with today's date circled in big, black capitol letters reading BACK TO SCHOOL. A groan of annoyance suddenly burst from her mouth.
"Well isn't that great." She muttered.
Wondering over to her closet she opened it to fish out a green dress which she coupled with blue skinny jeans. Slipping out her cosy pyjamas and into the clothes she examined herself in the mirror. Snatching her hairbrush and hair bands from her bed side table she began to do her hair.
A loud BING caused her to spin around and pick up her phone. Taking it from her bed side table, she saw it was a text from her ex nemesis, now close friend, Logan.
Is my lulu bunny ready for her first day at big bad high school. - Logan
She sighed to herself, knowing he takes great pleasure in using the nicknames which make it sound like she is a toddler.
Well Logan I think I am ready to put my fist in someone's face. - Louise
Feisty as always. - Logan
Proud of it. - Louise
Looking back at the mirror she began to brush her hair back into a more tame state so she can put it into her usual pig tails. Her train of thought was then lost when she started to look at the photographs stuck to the mirror. All of them were of Louise and Logan. There were ones of them playing, some going on rides at the Wharf, a few eating out, even a few were just of random pictures of objects which brought memories of good times together back to her mind. The one which stuck out for Louise was one which was mostly covered by Logan's face, but you can catch a glimpse of Louise pink ears. It was when Logan stole her phone and took one of the worst selfies in the world. "
"Oh Logan" she thought " you dork"
You still their bunny? - Logan
Louise was quickly snapped back to reality by his message pick up her phone
Yes I am, you miss me? - Louise
It was painful being a part for those few terrible minutes - LoganLouise rolled her eyes
Poor you Logan - Louise
I know I have been through a lot, you walking to school today? - Logan
Yes with Tina and Gene why? - Louise
Can I join you guys? - Logan
Isn't that adorable for you to ask -Louise
Pleaseeeeeeeeee Louise - Logan
Louise smirked
Fine - Louise
Why thank you, see you in a bit 4 ears xx - Logan
Bye xx - Louise
Louise turned off her phone, placing it into her pocket and facing the mirror one last time.
"First day of high school, here we go" she said sheepishly
Turning to the door she quickly remembered running over to her bed she picked up the bunny ears placing them on top her head.
"Now I am ready" she said more confidently this time
Going out the door she ran down the stairs to greet her misfit family for breakfast.
