A day later, I walked into school hand in hand with Eric. Whispers erupted around us, but we didn't care. Eric stopped at my locker. I got my things and kissed him on the cheek.
"See you at lunch."
He smiled and we parted ways. Kylie saw me and ran over. "You and Eric Harris?"
I smiled. "Yep!"
We squealed and ran to class. We talked during history.
"How long?"
"Well, we've been talking for a week but he kissed me Saturday at the amusement park!"
She smiled and squeezed my hand.
"You're lucky. He hasn't dated a girl in two years. He really likes you."
I smiled at the thought of being special to him. At lunch, Kylie and I sat at a table by ourselves. Eric appeared and sat beside me.
"Kylie, right," He asked Kylie.
She blushed and nodded. "Hi."
He laughed. "Hey, Care." He kissed my cheek.
I blushed and started a conversation with both of them.
"Do you two wanna go to the amusement park tonight?"
They agreed. I spotted a cute boy staring at Kylie. I excused myself from my table and sat across from him. He asked if I could get Kylie to talk to him. I asked his name.
"Oliver Reed."
I walked back to my table. "Kyle, Oliver Reed wants to speak with you."
Hopefullness spread across her face as she walked over to Oliver. "Good job," Eric whispered to me. I smiled.
"Maybe tonight will be a double-date!"That night, I dressed in a purple tee and jeans. I slipped on my boots and brushed my hair and teeth. Eric picked me up in a car. I gasped as I saw it was a Porsche. He opened the door for me and we drove to pick up Kylie. She told me her number and address. I smiled as I saw Oliver and her waiting for us. Kylie and Oliver sat in the back.
"Is it okay if I go," Oliver asked. We all said yes.
Five minutes later, we were getting our tickets and walking into the amusement park.
"Can we get on a roller coaster," Eric asked.
We all agreed and walked over to one hell of a scary looking roller coaster. Eric and I go to sit together in the very front. I hate sitting in the front. Kylie and Oliver got behind us. As the roller coaster started, I held onto Eric for dear life. He laughed and I screamed as we dipped down. Eric held me and I opened my eyes. We were going up a very tall hill.
"OMG!" I screamed as I bounced out of my seat for a millisecond. I about flew out the side as we flew around a sharp curve. Soon, it was all over. I could hardly walk so Eric picked me up bridal style. I asked if we could go get a drink. Eric ordered me a Coke to settle my stomach.
"You should have told me you've never been on a roller coaster," Eric said to me as he handed me my drink. I cracked it open and took a small sip.
"I didn't want to ruin the fun."
Eric sat beside me and I rested my head on his chest.
"You can go with Kylie and Oliver. I'll be here," I said.
He shook his head. "No."
I sighed and suddenly felt sick. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. Someone was behind me hold my hair away from my face. It was Eric.
"You're in the girl's bathroom," I said.
He laughed. "I know."
Afterwards, we had to leave so I could go home. We dropped Kylie and Oliver off and continued to my house.
"I'm sorry," I said.
He squeezed my hand. Once at my house, I said goodbye to Eric. He kissed my forehead and said he hopes I feel better.
In my room, Mom had given me some medicine and Dad gave me a bottle of water. After slipping on my pajamas, I fell asleep in my bed. My dreams were corrupted by Eric. Not that I minded...
