I hopped off the bike and looked around. We were at an amusement park. I smiled as Eric took my hand in his.
"Where do you want to go first," He asked after we got our tickets. "How about... there!" I pointed to the beautiful carousel. He smiled and I dragged him over to it. We sat across from each other and I loved looking around the park. Eric placed his hand on my waist and pulled me close enough for him to kiss my cheek. I looked into his golden eyes and smiled.
The ride ended and we walked around. At least, until Daniel came out of nowhere. He looked from me to Eric. Daniel said something to Eric and charged towards him. Eric, sensing danger, pushed me away and took Daniel head on. I tripped and cut my wrist as I fell. Daniel and Eric were broken up by a security guard and Eric ran over to me. I hid my wrist but he saw it.
"I'm sorry. What was that about," He asked he helped me up.
"He thinks I like him. I thought you two were besties."
"Hell no!"
I laughed. We walked to the ferris wheel and got on. Once at the top, it stopped. I looked down at the park. Then at Eric. He smiled and held my hand. The lights of the ferris wheel reflected in his eyes. Making them brighter. He slowly leaned in and stopped before kissing me. He looked into my eyes, as if asking,"Is this okay?"
I smiled and he kissed my lips lightly. Electricity ran through me and I wrapped my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers in his hair. He placed his hands on my waist and rested his forehead against mine. He smirked at me and I laughed. The car shook as it began to move. Soon, we were at the bottom. It was five and I needed to get home. Eric walked us back to to his motorcycle. He got on and I got on after him, pulling on my helmet.
"Thank you for taking me here," I whispered in his ear.
"You're welcome, Care."
I smiled and rested my cheek on his back. Too soon, I was back home. I got off and handed the helmet to him.
"Thank you, again," I said.
He pulled me close and kissed me.
"Goodbye, Carrie."
I smiled. "Goodbye, Eric."
I walked to my front door and heard the engine of his bike accelerate and saw him speed off. I was smiling when I walked into the house. Mom was standing in the kitchen. Frowning, she pointed to the kitchen table. I sighed and sat across from her.
"Who is he," She asked.
"Eric Harris. My boyfriend." No point in lying to her.
"He drives a motorcycle."
"Yes."
"Where did you two go?"
"The amusement park."
"Did you two run into Daniel?"
I jumped up and looked at my mom. "Daniel charged at Eric. Eric pushed me out of the way, because if he didn't, Daniel would have trampled me. Eric didn't do anything except protect me and himself. Daniel is a player. He thinks I was going to date him when he has a girlfriend. Eric is, was, his best friend," I rushed out.
I ran to my room and locked the door behind me. I laid on my bed and switched on Fall Out Boy and tuned out everything. Eric was the good guy. Just because he drives a motorcycle doesn't mean he's bad.
