I walked out of Daniel's awesome Dodge Charger. He took my hand and led me around the clusters of people drinking, talking, and dancing. We stopped in front of a boy with long blonde hair and golden eyes. He looked at me then Daniel.

"Hey," They said shaking hands.

"This is Carrie Williams. Carrie, this is Eric Harris."

I greeted him and it seemed that I couldn't break eye contact with Eric. His eyes held mine captive. Eric look ed away and Daniel dragged me away. We stepped outside and sat on the swing.

"How do you like the new town and school," He asked me.

"I like it. Why are you talking to me. You are a quarterback and you have a girlfriend."

He sighed. "I just can't talk to a girl and just be her friend, can I?"

I whinced at his harsh tone. "I'll be right back."

I saw Maggie dancing with Daniel's girlfriend. I spotted them again and told Daniel's girlfriend that Daniel wanted her. She left. Maggie waved at me. I smiled and waved. I turned around and ran right into Eric. He was holding a beer that spilled all over the both of us.

"Shit," He whispered. I apologized and knew my parents were going to kill me if I smelled me. Eric caught on.

"There's a bathroom upstairs."

I followed him upstairs and he pointed to the bathroom. I walked in and did the best I could. Someone knocked on the bathroom door and I told them to wait.

"I have a shirt for you," I heard Eric's voice. I opened the door and saw he was holding a cute light blue tee. I thanked him and took it. Shutting the door, I took my bear splattered shirt and put on the blue one. It fit perfectly. I put my shirt in my bag. Eric smiled at me as I stepped out.

"My sister is ten and you can fit her shirt."

I laughed and thanked him. It was eleven at night so I told Eric that Daniel was acting strange and I needed a ride. He said he could drive me. I surprised him by hugging him.

Amazingly, I made it home before my parents. They arrived an hour later. I was "asleep" when they checked on my. Really, I was up texting Eric all night.
