One month later
I walked into the hospital doors. The assistant led me to his room for the twentieth time this month. He was finally awake.
I walked into his room and let my tears fall as I saw him standing in his normal black tee and jeans. He looked paler than usual. He turned and smiled. I ran to him and hugged him. He gasped and I pulled away. I pulled up his shirt to reveal a long scar on his stomach. I traced it.
"What happened," I asked him.
"A shard of glass stabbed me."
I looked up at him and looked into his golden eyes. He brought his face closer and kissed me. I missed his touch. His kiss.
I wrapped my arms around him and deepened the kiss. He grabbed my waist and drew me closer and I sighed. I felt his heartbeat. It was running on overtime. I smiled at the effect I had on him and we pulled back.
"I get to go home," He said.
He signed out and we walked outside. I had rode the bus here. Eric picked me up and carried me to his car. We got in and bulkled up and rode off. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I missed him so much. We stopped at his house.
I got out the car and he unlocked the front door. I looked around. Finally, I entered his bedroom. I smiled and saw he had tons of books. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. I turned around and kissed him. Sometime later, he dropped me off at my house.
