(Tophia gets a gun, leading to a robbery gone wrong and a surprising resolution.)

Plot Summary: Tophia impulsively buys a gun, initially fascinated by it as a multi-tool for her daily life, from a back-scratcher to a makeshift cat toy. Johnny, horrified and alarmed, constantly tries to get her to see the danger. Things escalate when a robber tries to hold them up, and Johnny—somehow—ends up shooting the robber in self-defense. This event leads Tophia to swear off guns, while Johnny shockingly decides to get a gun license, much to her dismay.

[Cold Open: Tophia's Apartment]

[Tophia struts into the apartment holding a small handgun, grinning proudly.]

Tophia: (waving it around) Check it out, Johnny! Got myself a little bit of protection.

Johnny: (eyes widening, jumping back) Tophia! Is that... is that a real gun?

Tophia: (rolling her eyes) Obviously. Look at this baby—solid, sleek, and surprisingly ergonomic. Feels like I'm holding a power-up!

Johnny: (stammering) Are... are you insane? You don't even know how to use that!

Tophia: (smirking) Pfft, how hard can it be? I've seen all the "Fast & Furious" movies. Besides, this thing has so many uses. You'd be shocked.

[She points the gun's handle toward her back and scratches an itch, sighing with relief.]

Johnny: (horrified) Tophia! That is not a back scratcher!

[Title Sequence]

[Scene 1: Tophia's Creative Gun Use]

[Tophia starts using her gun in increasingly ridiculous ways around the apartment, whileJohnny looks on, speechless and mortified.]

[Cutaway #1: Tophia using the gun as a TV remote]

[Tophia is holding the gun and pointing it at the TV. Every time she points and fires, Johnny ducks out of the way, screaming.]

Johnny: Tophia, that is not how remotes work! You can't channel surf with a gun!

Tophia: (innocent shrug) Well, it works. I turn it this way, and look, it's like I'm shooting through channels.

[Scene 2: The Cat Toy Disaster]

[Tophia continues to find "practical" uses for the gun, including as a cat toy for their neighbor's cat, Muffin.]

Tophia: (wiggling the gun back and forth, aiming the laser sight at the floor) Look at him go! Little Muffin's having the time of his life!

Johnny: (grabbing the gun from her, horrified) Are you insane? This is dangerous! What if it goes off?
