Later when Lucy and Tim and at home, Tim's walking around holding Sofia while Lucy's been asleep in their room for a while. Once she does finally come out Tim notices the sad look on her face as if she's holding back tears. He quickly makes sure Sofia is settled and puts her in her crib before he goes over to Lucy. Before he can even speak she wraps her arms around his waist and hugs him. He hugs her back holding her tight.

Tim: Lucy what's wrong?

Lucy: I just need you here right now.

He can feel Lucy's tears slowly forming a wet patch on his shirt.

Tim: Lucy...

Lucy: I'm so sorry.

Tim: Hey you didn't do anything you have nothing to be sorry about.

Lucy: It's what I didn't do. I should've told you about Daniel and I didn't.

Tim: No hey I don't blame you, you don't have to tell me everything if you're not comfortable.

Lucy: I haven't even told Holly. No one. I'm just-

She keeps crying as legs start to get shaky, Tim holds her up and helps her over to the couch. They sit down, Lucy still buried in Tim and him holding her head and rubbing her back.

Tim: Lucy calm down it's ok no one blames you. Just breathe, cry as much as you need I'm here and I'm not leaving.

Lucy: I'm sorry I just dumped Sofia on you as soon as we got home...

Tim: You've been looking after her for weeks you deserve a break.

Lucy: Why are you still being so patient, I'm sitting here crying over shit you know nothing about I've been lashing out at Shepard all day I've been using you as an emotional supporter for so long I've barely even spent any time with you we don't-

Tim: Lucy I'm here for you because I care. I love you and if you're struggling I'm here. Because I know you'd do the same. Honestly Shepard deserved that punch. I'm just glad that you have someone here for you you've gone through so much.

Lucy: Oh my god I want to marry you you're amazing.

She says it almost as a joke before going back to crying.

Tim: Why not the rings sitting in my drawer.

Lucy: Wait what? Tim are you proposing to me?

Tim: Yeah. I'd hoped it would be someplace other than our living room couch but.

Lucy: Oh my god- hey if you're doing this you're doing this properly.

He goes and gets the ring and quickly comes back, going down to one knee and holding up the open ring box.

Tim: Lucy Chen will you marry me.

Lucy: Yeah. Of course.

She's still crying, this time happy tears. He puts the ring onto her hand and gets up pulling her into a loving kiss.

Lucy: How long have you had the ring?

Tim: Since like a week before the fire. Would've proposed before now but then arson happened then Sofia happened.

Lucy: I love you.

Tim: Love you too boot.

Lucy: I'll take this ring off.

Tim: Oh but you look so good with it.

Lucy: Yeah and you look better shirtless but you still have a shirt on most of the time.
