Suga

"Hey, Y/N! Lookin' good!"

You roll your eyes in disgust. You turn to see Suga winking at you and you glare at him. Ugh. He was so annoying.

You're at a pool party with some of your classmates to signal the beginning of summer. There was a barbecue on and the weather was warm. You weren't wearing a swim suit or anything but for some reason he still decides to annoy you. He's been doing that all year. Something you call tease flirting. Flirting without meaning it just to annoy you.

He's in the pool with his friends, slashing everyone. You stand with your friends beside the pool, just talking.

"Just ignore him, Y/N, he's an idiot." One of your friends say.

"I'm trying." You say, teeth clenched. He really does get on your nerves.

You talk for a few more minutes when someone announces that the food was ready. Everyone surges toward the cook.

"Want anything?" Your friends asks you.

"Nah. Not very hungry."

You walk over to the pool edge and stand there looking at the sunset in the distance. You're so distracted that you don't see Suga, still in the water, swimming toward you. He suddenly reaches up and grabs your arms and you realize to late what he's about to do. He pulls you into the water and you fall in head first, with a scream.

You hear him laughing and teasing you but he doesn't realize that you can't actually swim. And you're in the deep end. You splash around but you can't stay above water and you start to sink. The water rushes into your lungs and you panic as you can't breathe.

You open your eyes and you can fairly see the panicked expression of Suga yelling for help. He dives in and pulls you to the surface. You're barely conscious but you feel him carry you out and lay you on the ground.

"Stay with me, Y/N." You hear him say.

He tilts your head back and pinches your nose. You feel his lips on yours as he helps you to breathe again.

You suddenly shoot up. You then slightly to the side, coughing up water.

"Are you alright?"

"Is she okay??"

"She could have died!"

You're vaguely aware of your other friends standing around, looking down at you.

"Hey guys, go away and give her some air." You hear Suga say.

They all leave reluctantly.

He sits next to you, with his arm around you.

"Yea- wait did you kiss me??"

He just looks at you for a split second and then laughs. He pulls his arm away to wipe his wet hair from his eyes.

"Well, yeah. I had to save your life. Sorry bout that." He says sarcastically.

"Hey, you're the one who tried to drown me!"

"I didn't know you couldn't swim. Besides why would someone who couldn't swim come to a pool party??"

"I don't know! It sounded fun."

You both glare at each other for a minute or two. You sigh and give up. After all he did save you. You turn your head and bring your knees up to your chin and lean on them. He sits crossed legged.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for yelling at you.

"You're welcome. And I'm sorry for pulling you in."

You both sit there in awkward silence but neither of you leaves. The sun is still setting and the sky is an amazing orangey pink colour. It was surprising peaceful with him, even if you nearly drowned earlier. He suddenly turns to face you.

"So you owe me now right?"

"I... Guess. Why you ask?"

"Because now I can ask you for anything."

"That sounds scary. What do you have in mind?"

He leans in a little until your facea are close together. You feel your heart beat accelerate.

"A date." He says huskily.

"What? A date? I thought you didn't like me that much."

He stands up suddenly and drags you up with him. He stands extremely close to you.

"Are you serious? Haven't you noticed how I try to talk to you all the time? And even flirt? I've liked you for a long, long time Y/N. And now... I have the courage to ask you out. Saving your life really helps my confidence." He smiles cockily but it can tell by the look in his eyes he's being sincere.

"You had plenty of that already." You are very aware of your breathing becoming ragged. Why does he have this effect on you?

"Not enough... Besides I really want to know what its like to kiss you. The last time wasn't in the best of circumstances." He leans in and you decide that he is way to cocky for his own good. But you liked it. And you liked him.

But, you think to yourself, I have the upper hand here.

You pull back and smirk at him.

"Sorry but I only kiss after the first date."

He stands there, shocked. You guess he hasn't been rejected that often. But you can't help but smile and nod. Yes, you would go on a date with him.

"Well, we better get going then"

He stands next to you and grabs your hand, dragging you with him out the door.

"Sorry guys. Me and my new girlfriend have a date to get too." He calls back to his friends as you leave the party. You see the smug look on his face but you also see how happy he is that you agreed to go.

You roll your eyes but don't correct him. What a cocky idiot. An adorable cocky idiot.
