J-Hope

You walk into the practice room to see all the boys dancing to 'Dope'. They had already been practicing most of the night for the new video. You decided that they needed a rest so you went out to get some food to being back to them.

As you walk in all heads turn to the bags in your hands as you bring the smell of food with you. They all rush over to you at once.

"Whoa what did you get, Y/N?!" Taehyung asks, his face lighting up in excitement.

"I'm starved!" Complains Jimin, reaching for the bags.

"Hey guys, watch out I'm only one person." You say, but you laugh at them. They're just like children.

Hoseok runs around and hugs you from behind. He laughs and you feel him reach for the food in the bags.

"Y/N, did I ever tell you how much I appreciate your presence here?" He says, laying on the flattery. He nearly get to the food before you push away from him and the group of boys.

"Nice try, but flattery doesn't work on me." You say, unable to contain your laughter.

You give the bags to Namjoon, as he was the 'mature' leader and they all crowd around him, except for Hoseok who comes and stands next to you.

"You gonna eat something? You gotta hurry or they'll eat it all." You say, as the boys leave the room to go and eat.

"Nah, I feel like practicing a little more. You wanna watch?" He asks.

You two were the only two on the room now and the music was still blaring. You roll your eyes at him and he grins back.

"You just wanna show off, don't you?"

"Only a little." He smiles affectionately at you and walks to the middle of the dance floor. He starts the dance and you sit up against the wall, watching him. You smile to yourself. He really was an amazing dancer.

The song finishes and he walks over to you. You stand up, still leaning against the wall.

"What do you think?" He tries to smile cockily but you just find it cute. You decide to tease him a little.

"Not bad... But what other dances can you do? What about slow dance?"

He gapes at you, as if what you suggested was the stupidest thing ever. You laugh at him.

"Um, no. I don't slow dance."

"Have you ever tried it?"

"No"

"Then don't knock it till you try it. C'mon, let me show you." You hold out your hand to him and he takes it, hesitantly.

You lead him to the middle of floor and then let him go. You walk over to change the music to something softer. You walk back to see him standing there, looking nervous. You shake your head at him and take both of his hands.

"Don't be nervous. Its just one dance." You say.

He looks right at you and you are suddenly aware your heart beating against your chest.

"Yeah, but its a slow dance. And its with you..." He mumbles that last part so you're not sure if that is what he said.

You sigh and smile. You put one of his hands around your waist and hold the other in your hand. You put your hand on his arm.

"Its not very hard. Just follow my lead, okay?"

He nods and looks at his feet. Its funny not to him being confidentiality, you think. Especially at dancing.

You start to guide him through the steps and he starts off shakily at first, but after a few minutes he seems more confident.

"Hey, this isn't so bad!" He says, his face lighting up with excitement. You laugh at his expression.

You dance in silence and your eyes meet. You smile comes off his face and stop laughing. You both listen to the song playing.

"Y/N-"

"Shush. Don't ruin the moment." You whisper.

He nods. He looks you in the eyes and starts to lean in. You raise your head up to meet his lips when the boys walk in. They stop short when they see you and Hoseok together.

"Well, well, well what's going on here?" Says Namjoon, smirking.

You both jump apart and you look sheepishly at you're feet. Hoseok runs his hand through his hair.

"C'mon guys, let's give these two some privacy." Jungkook says, snickering. The boys walk and carry on walking down the hall.

You and Hoseok stand there in awkward silence. You turn toward each other at the same time.

"I'm sorry about that, I got kinda caught up in the moment." You say sheepishly. He stands closer to you and gives you a warm smile. He strokes your cheek with his forefinger and let's his hand fall back to hide side.

"You should do it more often." He says quietly.

"Do what?"

He places his hand around your waist and takes your hand in his other one. He starts dancing with you again.

"Get caught up in the moment." He says, grinning at you.

You had no idea that he had a romantic side to him... And you kinda liked it. You reached up and kissed him gently. When you pull back, you laugh at his shocked expression.

"What was that for?"

"Nothing. Just doing what you told me too."

You spend the rest of the evening laughing and dancing with him. As far as slow dances went, this was one of the best.
