Chapter 40

Sophia's POV

I woke up the next morning to crying and tiny giggles, so I get up and yawn stretch. Then walk into the living to see the twins giggling playing with their dolls, and Hayes trying to calm down a crying Grayson.

"Need help?" I ask and he nods, I giggle and take Grayson and as soon as he is in my arms he is silent.

"What how do you do that?!" Hayes says super confused.

"He's a mamas boy and the girls are Daddy's girls" I say to him and he nods, "Wait did the girls eat breakfast?"

"Not yet but I'll make some right now." He says and picks up the girls.

"I'm going to feed Grayson in his nursery then come out" I tell Hayes as he nods.

Hayes' POV

Once Sophia left the room I have the girls some cereal, and sat down with them and ate some with them.

"Girls you know what's coming up?" I ask them, and they shake their heads still eating, "It's mommy's birthday!"

"Ooo" they say and smile.

"So today we are going to get gifts then go to uncle Nash's house then make pictures for mommy." I say to them.

"Yay presents for mommy." Tegan says excited and Megan giggles.

So once the girls were down eating their breakfast I did the dishes, and cleaned their faces. After that I walk into Grayson's nursery and see Sophia in the rocking chair sleeping with Grayson in her arms asleep, I smile and take a picture of them then take Grayson out of her arms and gently set him in his crib so he could sleep.

Once I did that I picked up Sophia and set her in bed, and covered her up. I kiss her head and go get the girls ready. I pick the girls up and walk in their room and pick out outfits for them.

I picked out for them a thing one and thing two shirt with a jean skirt, and black sandals. After I get the girls dressed I put their hair in pigtails and two red bows in each pigtail.

I then get a diaper bag ready, and write a note for Sophia telling her that I went out with the girls so she could sleep, and that Grayson was sleeping in his crib. I put the note on the table, then went back in Grayson's nursery, and I check on him and he was still sleeping.

I then walked out to the car, and I buckled the girls up, put the diaper bag in the back. I got in the car myself then drove to the mall.

Once I got to the mall, I got the diaper bag out, then I held Tegan's hand and Megan's hand. I then walked into the Mall.

After walking in the mall for five minutes, Tegan turned to me and so did Megan.

"What's up girls?" I ask them.

"Can I has me teddy bear?" Tegan asks.

"And can I has me dolly?" Megan asks, I nod and hand them their toys.

I start walking again, and then I spot it the perfect gift from me, I quickly walked over to it, with the girls running behind me, and observed it.

It was a diamond necklace in the shape of the infinity sign and it said forever. I smiled at it and thought in my head over and over, that's the one.

So I go inside Kay Jewelers, and ask how much the necklace was.

"The necklace is $115." The lady says with a warm smile.

"Can I buy it and picked it up the 21st because knowing my twins they'll find it and lose it." I say pointing at the girls as the lady looks at them and they give her a big smile.
