[ACT I: Revenge of Neo Metal Sonic] [Fallout - Part 2]

Sonic and Xenolith ran on the dirt road, heading towards the nearest town in order to see if it's safe from the Badnik invasion. On the way, Sonic and Xenolith made small talk.
SONIC: "So, what's your story?"
XENOLITH: "Pardon?"
SONIC: "I mean, it's not every day you encounter someone that can utilize Chaos Energy. I know someone who can."
XENOLITH: "I was born with it, same with the fire I control."
Not technically a lie, though he was created, not born.
SONIC: "Must of practiced for quite a long time to gest mastery over two chaotic forces."
XENOLITH: "You have no idea."
The look up to see what appeared to be a giant mechanical crab. They quickly ran underneath it.
SONIC: "Not a bad race, big guy! But no way we're letting you trample that town!"
XENOLITH: "I'll burn the Eggman Empire to ashes..."
Xenolith boosted into the air with his fire powers before firing a fire arrow directly at legs, causing it to fall to the ground.
SONIC: "Nice one, Xe, but I got this one."
Just before the mechanical hit, though, Sonic spin dashed through the lower belly and appeared from the top. Multiple explosions occurred following suit, causing pieces from the robot to scatter.
XENOLITH: "Shadow...Shield!"
Xenolith quickly created a shield made of darkness which caused the small debris to bounce harmlessly off of it.
SONIC: "Nice one, Xe. Didn't know about the dark powers, though!"
Sonic leaped off the crab and landed on her feet in front of Xenolith and the civilians.
SONIC: "Ta-daaaah!"
The Mobians in the crowd began to cheer, the children being heard.
MOBIAN KID (1): "THAT WAS SOOOO COOL!"
MOBIAN KID (2): "I thought we were goners!"
MOBIAN KID (3): "How do you move like that?"
Sonic crosses his arms over his chest, looking smug as he soaked up the praise given to him by the townsfolk.
SONIC: "Thank you. Thank you."
Xenolith turned his head to the bot, seeing its eyes locked on him and Sonic. He growled at the sight.
