The warm evening breeze blew across the park, carrying the scent of fresh grass and the distant chatter of people out for a walk. Gianna and Hana were sitting on a bench, close enough that their shoulders brushed occasionally as they talked, laughing about the ridiculousness of the latest TikTok trends. Gianna was enjoying the moment—just her and Hana, a quiet Sunday afternoon after a week of chaos.

Hana had her arm draped casually over the back of the bench, and Gianna found herself glancing at her every now and then, still amazed by how easy it was to be with her. She loved the way Hana's smile made everything feel lighter, how her presence seemed to make the world just a little bit brighter.

"So, I swear, my mom tried to tell me that 'No Cap' meant 'No more butter on my bread'," Gianna said with a chuckle, shaking her head in disbelief. "Like, that makes any sense."

Hana laughed, the sound making Gianna's heart race in the best way. "I can't even deal with how unhip she is. 'No Cap' for her is probably 'no hats.'" She nudged Gianna playfully. "You're lucky you got your cool from me."

Gianna smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, am I now?"

"Absolutely." Hana grinned, then leaned in as if to steal a kiss, but before their lips could meet, they were interrupted.

"Holy shit, are you Hana?" a voice called out from behind them.

Both of them turned, and Gianna immediately felt a pang of surprise when she saw a young woman standing there. She had a wide grin plastered on her face, her eyes gleaming with excitement. Her appearance was casual but stylish, and she was holding her phone up, clearly ready to snap a photo.

Hana straightened up, looking momentarily startled but quickly recovering. "Uh, yeah, that's me," she said, her tone polite but hesitant.

The woman's eyes widened even more. "Oh my god, I'm such a huge fan! I love your content! I've been following you forever!" She took a step closer, holding up her phone. "Can I get a picture with you?"

Gianna's stomach tightened. She had expected this. Hana was popular, and she was used to getting stopped in public, but something about it made Gianna's chest feel tight. It wasn't the fan's excitement or even the request for a photo—it was the way the woman's eyes lingered a little too long on Hana, how she seemed to lean in closer than necessary. There was a flash of possessiveness in Gianna's mind that she didn't quite know how to handle.

Hana looked at her, offering a soft, reassuring smile. "Yeah, of course," she said to the fan, completely at ease with the interaction.

Gianna swallowed, trying to shake the feeling off. She'd known Hana was popular before they started dating, but the attention from strangers was always something that took a little getting used to. She couldn't help but feel a little off, as if she wasn't quite sure where she fit in the picture, standing next to Hana while someone else fawned over her.

The fan took a few photos with Hana, chatting enthusiastically about how much she loved Hana's videos and how she wished she could do something creative like that. The whole time, Gianna remained quiet, watching them interact, feeling the distance between herself and Hana slowly creep in.

Finally, after a few more selfies, the fan seemed satisfied. "Thanks so much, Hana! You're the best! I hope I run into you again!" She waved enthusiastically and dashed off, already typing something into her phone.

Hana watched her go, her expression soft and unbothered, but when her eyes returned to Gianna, she immediately seemed to notice the shift in the atmosphere. Gianna had turned her gaze back to the ground, trying not to show how unsettled she felt.

"You okay?" Hana asked gently, her voice full of concern.

Gianna blinked, quickly looking up. She hadn't meant to look so upset, but the way her stomach twisted made it impossible to mask the unease. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just... wasn't expecting to get ambushed like that." She forced a smile, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.

Hana leaned toward her, touching her arm lightly. "Hey, I'm sorry. I should've warned you. I didn't think it'd be like this today." Her gaze softened, reading the discomfort on Gianna's face. "But you know, you're the one I want to be with, right? I'm not going anywhere."

Gianna's heart thudded in her chest. She wanted to believe that. She really did. "Yeah, I know." Her voice was small, but she lifted her chin, meeting Hana's eyes. "It's just... a lot sometimes. Seeing people... I don't know, fawn over you like that."

Hana nodded, her lips curling into a smile that was both understanding and tender. "I get it," she said. "But trust me, none of it matters if I'm not with you. You're the one who makes everything real for me, Gianna. I wouldn't trade that for anything."

The sincerity in Hana's voice settled something deep inside Gianna. She could feel the weight of her insecurities slipping away, even if only for a moment. Hana was here. She was with her. That was all that mattered.

"Thanks," Gianna said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hana smiled, pulling her in closer, wrapping her arm around Gianna's shoulders. "I'm serious, Gianna. I know it's a lot sometimes. But no matter who comes up to me or how much attention I get, you're the one I want. Always."

Gianna let out a breath she didn't realize she'd been holding. She felt grounded again, her heart lighter. "I'm starting to believe you," she murmured, leaning into Hana's embrace.

And for the first time that afternoon, Gianna allowed herself to just enjoy the moment—Hana's warmth, her presence, the connection between them that no fan or stranger could ever touch. She had Hana, and that was enough.
