"Ford,"

The aforementioned turns his head at the call. He peered at Fourth curiously, quirking a brow.

Fourth is seated on the desk with his head resting on his right hand. A heavy sigh drags out of his mouth,

"What's the best way to apologize to someone?"

Ford took a few seconds to process the question. "Why're you asking? Who do you have to say sorry to?" The boy interrogated.

"Could be his roommate, Norawit." Mark interrupted their conversation from the side, a playful grin on his lips.

Fourth furrows his eyebrows. "Norawit? How do you know his last name?"

The other snorted as a response, leaning back on his chair. "He took you home that day. You don't remember, Fourth?"

"He did what?" He sat up on his seat. "You met Gemini?"

His reaction made Mark skeptical. The boy shrugs his shoulders dismissively, "He...didn't tell you?"

No? He doesn't even want to talk to me!

"Wait, you have a roommate? I thought you lived with your aunt." His other friend points out. Fourth widened his eyes upon realizing the slip up.

Shit, Ford doesn't know the whole story. He scratches the back of his neck, sheepishly smiling at the other's puzzled face.

"I moved out recently. Campus was a bit too far for me."

"Wasn't it a twenty minute drive?"

He gritted his teeth. "N-Now it takes ten!" The boy squeaks out, forcing a laugh afterwards.

"Ay Fourth, you should invite us sometimes. I wanna talk to your mechanic roommate again. He seems pretty chill." Mark's snicker brought him back to the main topic.

"You've talked to Gemini?" Fourth gapes at his classmate.

It earns a smug smile. "Yeah! I don't think he liked my jokes though..."

"What jokes, Mark." The boy emphasized in a panic filled voice.

"Y'know! I told him about my broken toilet and all..."

Yeah, no. Looks like Gemini definitely deserves more than apology from him.

Gemini trudged up the steps to his apartment, letting out a breathy shake from exhaustion. His shoulders slumped under the weight of his laptop bag, and his eyes stung from staring at screens for far too long.

The drowsiness today is getting to him. He reaches into his pocket for the keys, fingers fumbling as he tried to find the right one. Work was an extra hour long today since their meeting was delayed, and Gemini fell under last minute pressure to finish everything.
