Jungkook stood before the wide window of his room, the city's twinkling lights igniting a reckless spark within him. It was late at night, and the streets lay sprawled beneath him like a canvas painted with neon colors. He chuckled, a soft yet dangerous sound that echoed against the walls: marriage, a simple word that now felt twisted and grotesque in his mind.
As memories flickered past his consciousness, images he dared not revisit, he shuddered. Though the cause of his anguish remained a mystery, its effects had carved deep scars, transforming him into something monstrous. Where once he had felt joy and love, there now lingered a void, cold and unforgiving. It was this darkness that fuelled his reckless ideas, a smirk creeping onto his lips as he concocted a plan that would lead him down a far more treacherous path.
The next morning, he found himself sitting in his father's expansive mansion, the remnants of his sleepless night still etched into his features. Sunlight poured through the massive windows, illuminating the room in a warm glow that felt out of place amidst his sinister intentions. He sipped his coffee slowly, the bitter taste igniting a flicker of awareness that only reminded him of the bitter memories he refused to confront.
Across the table, his father, a striking figure in a tailored suit, scrutinized him with a mix of concern and curiosity. They were two sides of the same coin, each bearing the weight of their lineage, twisted by ambition and shadows alike. Jungkook finally broke the silence, producing a photograph from his pocket-a beautiful woman, her eyes sparkling with life, her smile innocent and unassuming.
"Who is she?" his father asked, his tone casual, yet Jungkook could sense the tension underneath.
"Is she one of your girlfriends?" His father's voice was tinged with a teasing lilt, but Jungkook's expression remained locked in a dark determination as he shook his head.
"No," he replied, his voice low and steady. "I don't want her for that. I want you to find her. Anywhere in the world. Kidnap her."
The words hung in the air like a weight, heavy and foreboding. His father's brows furrowed, confusion mixing with intrigue. "Kidnap? You can't be serious, Jungkook."
"But I am," he replied, leaning forward, the intensity of his gaze never wavering. "She's the only one who can break me. If I can't have love, then I'll make her mine by force. You know what happens when I don't get what I want."
There was a flicker of recognition in his father's eyes, a wary understanding of the darkness that reigned within his son. "You think this will fill the void? You think this will change you?"
Jungkook's lips curled into a menacing smile, a hint of madness threading through his logic. "It doesn't matter. Just do it. I know you want this too. It's beneficial for both of us."
His father leaned back, contemplating the offer. The desire to maintain their family's influence mingled with the concern for his son's sanity. After a taut moment of silence, he sighed, conceding. "You are your mother's son, you know that? Fine. I'll find her. But you must promise me this won't turn into a disaster."
Jungkook nodded solemnly, though deep within, the monster inside him roared in anticipation. The thrill of the hunt coursed through his veins, drowning out the remnants of his broken heart. In a world where he sought to seize control, the fate of an innocent woman would become a pawn in his game. The city lights glimmered beyond, a beautiful lie, but within him brewed a tempest of chaos.
What had started as a mere thought on marriage had transformed into an obsession-an obsession to possess, to control, and ultimately to dominate, to hurt. The darkness had begun its grasp once more, and Jungkook was ready to embrace it.
