"It seems like the selection process for working here is being a bit lax, don't you think?" Anna said, looking at the main mansion's butler, who was lowering his head in guilt for his mistake.

"I-I'm sorry, ma'am. Those two are my nieces," the housekeeper who had worked there for a long time replied apologetically. It was she who asked the butler to accept her nieces to work there.

However, he had already clearly explained all the internal rules to the young women, especially when it came to their bosses.

"Are they Aunt Ronya's nieces?" Danil asked, turning to the housekeeper who had been in the house since he was a child.

“Yes, sir,” the housekeeper replied guiltily. She didn’t try to defend her nieces, for she knew Danil’s personality well.

After all, she had helped raise him since he was a child. When Danil had moved into his own smaller home, he had ended up not paying much attention to who came or went to work in the main mansion.

“Auntie, we both did nothing wrong!” insisted one of the young women, still convinced that no one had heard what she had said.

"Do you think there are no security cameras in my room?" Danil asked, causing the two to immediately freeze. They began to look around nervously, before kneeling down and holding their aunt's legs in despair.

"Aunt Ronya, I'm sorry! I didn't do it on purpose!" hurriedly confessed one of the young women, who, terrified by the possibility of cameras, revealed the truth.

In reality, Danil had no cameras installed in the bedroom, because sometimes he needed to discuss secrets with Leaf and I didn't want to risk exposing this confidential information.

"What's going on here?" Raisa asked, her voice echoing through the room, entering the room along with Pavel.

"Is everything okay, Sister Anna?" Pavel asked.

"It turns out that these two maids behaved inappropriately," Anna replied.

"Please, ma'am! We said things without thinking them through. Forgive us! You can even deduct it from our wages, but we promise to improve and behave better from now on," one of the young women begged.

Pavel turned to the butler who was standing there, looking for an explanation. After hearing the story, he understood what had happened.

"These two made a mistake for the first time. Please forgive them. Besides, Danil also physically assaulted them, didn't he? If this becomes public, Danil will be the target of rumors saying that he likes to mistreat the housemaids," Raisa said, in a tone that Danil

She knew very well that it wasn't genuine concern. She just wanted to take the opportunity to needle him.

"If something really gets out, it will probably be the fault of someone who doesn't know how to keep their mouths shut," Danil replied firmly.

"Here, everyone knows not to take internal matters outside. And even if someone wanted to spread this, I don't care." Raisa tried to maintain her composure, feigning a sad expression.

"Anna, I'm just worried about my nephews," the woman said quickly, trying to divert the focus.

"Hmm," was the only response Danil gave, a short sound coming from his throat. Raisa pursed her lips, visibly irritated, but she didn't dare react more obviously.

"The internal affairs of my house, I resolve alone. Ronya, I will need to dismiss your nieces. You know why", said Anna in a calm but firm tone. I had no intention of keeping those who spoke badly about their bosses around, especially about sensitive issues like lineage and family.
