In the past, Danil grew up surrounded by the love and care of everyone in the Balenkov family, making him a beloved child to everyone. He could be somewhat spoiled, as is typical of someone who is pampered in the Balenkov family. The main line includes his father, named Edik Balenkov, who is the eldest son and has two younger brothers, who are Danil's uncles.

Edik married Anna and had two sons, Ivan and Danil. This is what Danil has always known. During his childhood, he was very close to his older brother, Ivan, who also loved him dearly, even though there is a 13-year age difference between them.

Danil grew up well until he reached the age of 17, when he suddenly felt an unforgivable resentment toward his older brother, Ivan. At first, Danil thought he was just being protective of his brother when he saw Ivan getting close to a girl, which often led him to intervene. The event that caused a major argument between Ivan and Danil, creating a rift between them, was when Danil caught Ivan kissing a girl. It wasn't that Ivan had never been with anyone before, but Danil usually didn't know or see it. However, that time, Danil happened to walk in and saw it, making him feel as though he was about to lose something significant. He rushed in and pulled the girl away from his brother, which shocked him and left him feeling quite confused.

Danil was taken back home, and he isolated himself in his room, refusing to come out, which made his parents quite worried. Ivan did not come to check on Danil at all, which made Danil very sad. The sadness itself was not as significant as the guilt he felt for falling in love with his brother, which was overwhelming. Danil thought he needed to distance himself from Ivan to process his thoughts and feelings because it was wrong.

Danil stayed holed up in his room for almost a month. Eventually, he stepped out because he didn't want to upset his parents. He tried to act strong and cheerful like before, but in his heart, he always thought about Ivan. He and his brother saw each other less often, partly because Ivan was busy with work. When they did meet, Danil felt that he couldn't connect with Ivan because of his guilt, but he couldn't let go of his feelings.

Then came a particular event. When asked if it was Danil's intention, he replied that it was. By that time, he was 20 years old, and he seized the opportunity to intentionally do something that conflicted with his moral beliefs. The only person who knew about what he was going to do was Leif, the bodyguard who was like a friend and an older brother to him, and who was willing to do anything for Danil, even if it went against the Balenkov family's principles.

That day, Danil secretly followed Ivan to the FS club, a place where men and women provide services for the upper class, which was where Ivan frequently went when he wanted to unwind. Danil had Leif bribe someone inside to switch places with the person Ivan had chosen earlier. He had just discovered that his brother

preferred both men and women, which gave Danil the courage to take the risk.

Inside the luxurious room where services were provided, there would only be Ivan and the person he had chosen to spend the night with, and there might be a little drinking to set the mood and atmosphere. The young man Ivan chose sat down to drink with him, discreetly adding the aphrodisiac that Danil had prepared for Ivan's drink. Ivan, who had always trusted this place, was caught off guard, especially since the young man he chose was someone he regularly used. Ivan had done his research on this young man because he needed to find someone without any background that could affect his business. Eventually, Ivan unknowingly drank the wine laced with the aphrodisiac. When the young man noticed that Ivan was starting to show signs of the drug's effects, he pretended to ask to use the bathroom, which actually had a hidden door inside. Danil was already waiting there.

Danil, who was hiding in the

bathroom, slowly came out. Fortunately, the young man had kept the lights dim, which meant that Ivan, lost in his emotions, didn't notice. Part of it might be because Danil and the young man he had swapped with had similar builds. Danil had mentally prepared himself well but couldn't help feeling his heart race when he saw Ivan's restless demeanour on the bed. Danil had come ready, following the advice of the young man who had switched places with him. When Danil walked over and stopped next to Ivan's bed, Ivan quickly pulled him onto the bed, not having enough awareness to realize who he had yanked.
