"Are you saying there is something that made Danil turn against us, father?" Ivan asked. Edik nodded. They were both silent for a moment.

"Do you think... Danil knows about this?" Ivan asked quietly.

"I'm not sure, but most of Danil's security guards are people who arrived later. None of them know that, for sure," Edik replied. His concern was the fact that Danil was not Edik and Anna's biological son. They didn't know if Danil would be able to accept this truth if he discovered it.

"What about the people in our house? Those who have been with us for a long time?" Ivan asked, still intrigued by Danil's attitude towards his family. In Ivan's case, he admitted that he was the one who kept a certain distance from Danil, but he never imagined that Danil would do the same with the rest of the family.

“We’ll have to keep a closer eye on that,” Edik replied, before Ivan changed the subject to work.

"What about you and Dylan? How have things been between you guys lately?" Edik asked.

"Everything as usual. That guy is always looking for trouble, but to me, it's just a minor irritation that you can ignore," Ivan replied.

"Hm, our informants reported that there are internal problems there," Edik commented again, although he thought his son was already aware of this.

"Yes. If Dylan were more firm and didn't blindly follow his father's and uncle's crazy ways, he could go much further," Ivan replied, based on what he had observed.

"Anyway, be careful," Edik warned, so that his son wouldn't let his guard down. Ivan nodded and then excused himself to continue the inspection of his own casino.

Danil stood on the balcony of his room, watching his brother's car drive away from the house with a thoughtful look. He realized that there was something different about Ivan, something that, in a way, made Danil feel good, but not completely satisfied.

"If you need anything, just tell Mom, Danil," Anna said, after ordering video games from the playroom to Danil's room, worried that he might get bored or lonely.

“Yes, mom,” Danil replied, before re-entering the room.

"You can rest, Mom. I'm fine on my own," Danil said, gently suggesting that he wanted to call Leaf over to talk.

"Okay, honey," Anna said with a smile before leaving Danil's room. As soon as she left, Danil called Leaf to come to him.

“Yes, sir?” Leaf entered the room, where Danil was sitting on the couch.

"I'm finding Ivan a bit strange," Danil commented.

"In what way?" Leaf asked. Danil then told him about Ivan icing him, as well as mentioning a promise to take him to a friend's yacht for a ride soon. Upon hearing this, Leaf smiled in satisfaction.

"That's good, isn't it?" Leaf replied.

"Yeah, but I'm curious. Why is Ivan suddenly being so kind like this?" said Daniel. Leaf smiled, without mentioning that she had asked Ivan to treat Danil more affectionately. I thought that, deep down, Ivan already cared and felt guilty about Danil.

"I don't think you need to look for so many reasons for this, just enjoy this moment and keep the boss's kindnesses to yourself," Leaf suggested with a smile. Danil was silent for a moment, thoughtful.

"That's right, why overthink it?" Danil nodded at Leaf's words before looking up at his loyal bodyguard.

"Thank you, Leaf, for everything," Danil said sincerely. Leaf just smiled in response before Danil suggested he go get some rest. For Danil's bodyguards, the fact that he was grounded was practically a vacation.
