"Besides Kamol, did Danil have anything to do with anyone else?" Ivan asked, as he felt that his sources might not have investigated deeply enough. There were some things about Danil that he didn't really know. Part of it was because Ivan didn't want anyone following Danil too closely, as he didn't want Danil to feel uncomfortable or dissatisfied.

"No, sir. In fact, Mr. Danil has also had nothing to do with Kamol for a long time," Leaf replied, adding in thought that since he discovered that he was not part of the Balenkov family, Danil has had nothing to do with Kamol.

"And even?" Ivan furrowed his eyebrows, still not fully understanding, but he felt safer knowing that Danil didn't really have any feelings for Kamol.

"Boss, if I say something you don't like, you can punish me, but I really want to talk." Leaf said.

It wasn't just Danil who had put up with him for years, him too. He had to bear seeing his young master sad for so long, which made him equally sad. If someone asked Leaf what he felt about Danil, beyond the boss and bodyguard relationship,

he considered him as a younger brother, almost as if he were his own son.

"Say what you think," Ivan replied.

"I wish the boss could be a little kinder to Mr. Danil. If you don't want him to look for love outside, couldn't the boss offer him some of that affection? I know you care about him too, but I wanted to ask you to show it a little more." Although, in truth, Leaf wanted to say a lot more, he would prefer Danil to talk about everything. He could only ask Ivan a little more

of kindness towards Danil than he had shown until then. Ivan, upon hearing this, remained silent for a moment. It wasn't just Leaf who made this request, his mother had also asked for the same thing.

"Are you telling me I've been cruel to Danil up until now?"

Ivan asked in a calm tone. Leaf took a deep breath, thinking that since it had come to this, he needed to say everything so that he could at least see his young master smile from time to time.

"Yes, sir. In the incident that just happened, Mr. Danil was trained to fight and be strong, for sure. But, being kidnapped like this, he must have felt some fear, certainly. As Mr. Kim mentioned , maybe he also wishes to be protected and taken care of from time to time. But instead, the boss... ended up slapping him when he could have calmed him down with concern," Leaf said, her voice getting quiet at the end. He acknowledged to himself that he was quite unhappy with Ivan for this, but he knew he couldn't say much more. Ivan fell silent upon hearing these words.

"So all you want is for me to be a little nicer to Danil, huh?" Ivan asked back.

"Yes, sir," Leaf replied firmly.

"Um, I'll try, but only if your boss doesn't cause too much trouble," Ivan said, causing Leaf's eyes to widen in surprise, before he broke into a smile.

"But regarding the confusion he caused in Thailand, I will still have to punish him," Ivan added. Leaf understood perfectly, Just the fact that Ivan promised to be kinder to Danil made him satisfied.

Even though he didn't know exactly what Ivan's kindness would be like, he was sure that Ivan would keep his word. And he knew that Ivan promised this because he also felt guilty about the slap he gave Danil.

"Go rest," Ivan said before to get up and go to the room to see Danil. Leaf just watched with hope.

Ivan opened the bedroom door. Danil was lying on his back with his arm over his forehead and glanced over when he realized it was Ivan. He didn't say anything, as he already imagined that the only person who would open the bedroom door without knocking would be Ivan.
