"I'm glad you like the food. But I still suggest that you go home after the hearing. The eye bags under your eyes reminded me of a panda I saw in China not too long ago." Even though this woman compares me to an animal, I don't even care.
"Aren't you busy? Why are you here? You could just ask someone to bring these things to me." Mallory hummed.
"I don't trust anyone. I don't even trust my own grandparents with anything. How would you expect me to trust a stranger to deliver your things?" I look up to Mallory while chewing my food. Look at her with all her glory, sitting there with her legs crossed.
"I heard Jeremiah came here yesterday. What did he do?" Did my assistant tell her about Jeremiah's visits?
"He wants to explain himself. But I told him to get out. To be honest, if I caught her just chatting with that woman, I would have just listened to his explanation. But the thing is— I found him on top of that woman, both naked. Whatever kind of explanation he tried to give me, I don't see the point at all." I finished my breakfast. Mallory got up, grabbed a bottle of water and gave it to me.
"Thank you." Mallory hummed before he went back to her seat.
