A SECOND CHANCE

the heeler home

I woke up and the first thing I could see was that the car had stopped. I was still tired but not as much when I was Falling asleep. I heard mom go out of the front of the car and open my side door were, bluey hopped out of the car. Mom buckled me out of my seat, she then put on her shoulder and started walking straight. I was finally fully awake, so I looked over to see a home. It looked yellow with a red roof with flowers in the front of it. I was scared and frightened because entertaining a new home, I have never been in made me quite nervous. My dad wasn't far behind, getting out of the car and following us to the house. My mom then got the keys and opened the door and we all stepped inside.

Mom then put me in her hands in the baby caring position. She then went around the house showing me different parts of it. "Hay bingo, so this is the playroom where you'll play in the future when you grow older and play with your sister" My mom said with a smile.

She then took me upstairs, the steps were wooden with a rail railing with yellow walls with some pictures on the wall. Mom then took me to a room which appears to be a bedroom with a kiwi rug and had stars on the ceiling that glowed an alien green with the dark of the room. "So this is your future bedroom where you get to sleep with your sister but you have to sleep in the other room" my mom smiled. "Ok I can't really show around much because it's time for bed"

Mom then left the room and took me to a room which was green inside with a crib on the other side of the room, the color of the room really stuck with me I liked it. Mom then placed me in saying good night bingo before kissing my forehead and closed the door and left with the lights off. I decided to sleep sense I was getting late and I was quite exhausted, so I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I awakened stretching my arms and getting up. Then I remembered oh right I am a child I can't get up I'm in a crib. I shut back down in frustration already longing for my human body. I can't remember how old I was for some reason. Which made me kind of sad, but I'm being known for being an
optimist so I keep keeping to myself

I breathe in and out trying to call myself now which I managed to. I looked up to see Bluey standing there next to my crib. "Hi there bingo" she said. She wagged her tail which I found very adorable.
But sat down on the floor with the lights still off. She said, "I am going to sleep here tonight". I was scared her mom would find her out of bed. But well it's not like she's hurting or bothering me so I guess she could do that I guess. I just went back to sleep with her on the floor next to the crib where I was.

Mom then came in the room and said "good morning bluey" i looked out the window in confusion and realized it was morning. I shook my head and let go of the thought. "Why are you sleeping in her room" the mom chuckled".
"Well I wanted to see my sister" she said.
"Okay that's fine just at least you don't bother her while she sleeps" mom said.
"But we're planning to go to Nana's house today and I'm going to show Nana your sister because we're already going there today" Mom said.

Huh Nana's house is that like their grandma or something? I didn't feel comfortable meeting new people I haven't met. But I guess it's not like I can't do anything about it. But I wondered what this day might have in store?
