Chapter 7

Ira POV

I walk to the Pig Tail sweating bullets what if it was all a prank, what if she stands me up what if... deep breaths Ira she wouldn't have asked you out if she didn't like you. I walk through the door and sit down, where is she... is she standing me u- "Hi Ira." She has the sweetest smile on her face and a beautiful bright blue dress on, man she's gorgeous. "H-hey Rachel." She sits down blushing hard. I sip my soda "Soooo."
She looks down "Sooooo"

Rachel POV

This is horrible, we've been sitting here for 15 minutes and we haven't said anything to each other I need to let him down easy. "Ira I'm really glad you asked me out on this date but-" He interrupts, "Wait what do you mean, you asked me out." We stare at each other in shock when he slams his fist on the table "Mackenzie!" Then the pieces start to fit. We were set up. "MISSION ABORT, MISSION ABORT!!" We look up to see blurs of pink, yellow, and purple sprinting out the door "Maya!"

Maya POV

"RUN!!!" Yells Mackenzie.
"MACKENZIE STAR GET BACK HERE!" Ira yells angrily. "THEY KNOW!" Clara screams. I hear Rachel yell, "MAYAAAA!!"
"FASTER!" I yell. We run at almost 5 miles an hour. They know, we failed, and now we are in trouble, HUGE TROUBLE. "GET BACK HERE YOU" Rachel yells. We round a corner, "Gotcha!" Dang it Ira teleported in front of us, stinking mercenare powers. On the plus side he has Rachel next to him with his arm around her. I look at the girls and they nod "Run." We turn around and race back to the Pig Tail.

Ira POV

I whisper to Rachel "I have an idea, let's corner them." She nods, I reluctantly let her go and teleport in front of them. "AAAHHH!" They scream. They turn around and run right into Rachel, "Ha!" We close in on them, "WAIT WAIT WAIT HEAR US OUT!" Maya pleads, holding her hands out. "PLEASE." Mack says. I look at Rachel she shrugs, "You have 30 seconds, go." Clara starts "Well we knew you liked each other-" "But you guys were too chicken to say anything." I tense and stare daggers at Mack. "15 seconds." I say through clenched teeth. Maya continues "So we decided to do something" "Plus it worked out." Clara says. "No it didn't!" I say avoiding Rachels eyes. Mack turns to look at me, "Ira are you an idiot!!!" Rachel and I turn to her "WHAT!?" Rachel looks ticked off, and if it were anyone else I would be too, but this is Mack and I know she isn't trying to be rude. "Both of you got a letter being asked out by the other." Maya says. I look at Rachel and we both blush. "And since you both showed up for the date." Clara continues, "it means you feel the same about each other." We blush harder. "So get back in there and finish your date!!!" Mack says. "YEAH!!!" Maya and Clara say entusiastically. We look at each other "Only if you want to." I say. Rachel smiles "I would love to." I take her hand and we walk back into the restaurant. I open the door, ignoring the squeels behind us.

Time skip, after their date

Still Ira POV

Rachel and I are walking back home hand in hand "I had a good time Ira, even if we were set up." I smile at her, "Me too Rachel." As we get to the porch we stare at each other blushing, and because I am a total idiot (point Mackenzie) I lean in and kiss her and she kisses me back (thank God). After a few seconds I pull back a look into her big beautiful eyes "Rachel I really like you, would you be my girlfriend."
She blushed, "I really like you too Ira, of course I'll be your girlfriend."
I smile and kiss her again
Chikoo Chikoo Chikoo
I look up to see Mack and Maya in the bushes with a camera, "Got it."
Rachel frowns "MAYA!!!" Mack stands up "RUN!!" Rachel chases them down the street and I go inside to see Kane with a smile on his face "How was it...TELL ME!"
I fall onto my bed "It was amazing."
