Chapter 9

Ira POV

Marmo leaves and everything clicks, my best friend and my girlfriend hid one of the most important things of my life from me. I turn towards Rachel and Mack who have guilty looks on their faces, as if they just realized what they did. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" They look at me like I just killed their dog "I THOUGHT RELATIONSHIPS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT TRUST" They shrink back and look at the grass.

Rachel starts crying, I know my words hurt but right now I'm to mad to care "I NEVER HID ANYTHING FROM EITHER OF YOU, YET WHEN I ASKED IF MY AMNESIA WAS CURED YOU NEGLECT TO TELL ME THAT I WAS A VILLAIN"

Mackenzie POV

I can't believe it, he's never yelled at me like this before. "Look Ira I'm sorry we didn't tell you, but knowing you I thought that you would be so horrified with what you did that you would run, plus I didn't think it mattered since we already forgave you" He scowls

"DID YOU MACK, CAUSE I SEEM TO REMEMBER YOU BEING HORRIFIED AT THE THOUGHT OF BEING MY FRIEND" I look at the ground, he's right "I can't believe it, every time Gura said something about betrayal you guys told me to just brush it off, to protect your precious secret"

He looks at Rachel who is sobbing "Were we even real..or was that another lie to save your secret?"

Rachel looks up at Ira in shock "Of course we're real!"

She grabs his hand but he yanks it away and turns to me, "Did you really think I would run away, or was it that you just didn't trust the good in me?"

"I-" I pause, realizing that I don't know the answer.

He scoffs "Thought so."

"I'm so so sorry" Rachel says.

"I need some time to think." He teleports away and Rachel falls to her knees in tears.

"W-we should have told him."

I bend down and put my hand on her shoulder. "I know....lets just hope he comes back."

Ira POV

I teleport to the beach and sit under the tree where Rachel found me

I open my eyes to see a pretty blue haired girl looking down at me with a wet rag in her hand "Hello?" The girl looks shocked "You just pulled me out of the water right?" I smile "Thanks I really appreciate it."

"I can't believe it...how could they not tell me..."

Kane flies out of my bag "They were just tryna protect you Ira."

I look up at my pixie "Did you know!?"

He holds up his paws, "Of course not! I'm just saying that maybe you should ask them why they did what they did"

I roll my eyes, "I already asked them that-"

"Yeah but you didn't give them time to explain you just kept yelling at them."

I sigh and stand up, he's right I have to go apolo- "AAH!"

"IRA!" Kane yells.

My head hurts, I fall on my back, my vision goes blurry and I see what looks like Marmo holding a dark energy ball in her hand, oh shoot "Come on Ira, your father wants to see you." Before I blackout the last thing I see is Marmo's awful grin as she bends over me.

Rachel POV

Ira still hasn't come back and I'm getting worried, what if he left for good? The girls are in my room comforting Mackenzie and me. "Don't worry girls I'm sure he'll be back."
