The end of the day...Siobhan saw as the clock strike 6:30. Sighing with relief, that it was finally the end of the day. Siobhan gets up from her desk, straightens out the papers, getting ready to get Jamie from the preschool room. "I'm off to get Jamie. Have a good evening, Marjorie. I'll see you tomorrow," Siobhan says grabbing her purse. "Good evening, Siobhan. Get home safe," Marjorie says as Siobhan leaves the office.
As Siobhan enters the preschool room, she sees Jamie reading a book in the book corner as Charlotte is finishing tidying up the rest of the room. Charlotte looks up, seeing Siobhan. "Oh, hello Siobhan. I'm guessing your here to collect Jamie?" Charlotte asks, smiling. "Yes," Siobhan says as she plays with her nails. "Jamie? Would you like to get your stuff out your tray?" Charlotte asks Jamie.
"Okay Char-char," Jamie says as she sets his book down back on the shelf, and collecting his things. "That's it. So Jamie has had an amazing day today. He helped hand out soft play activities," Charlotte tells Siobhan about Jamie's day."Very good," Siobhan says, waiting for Jamie. "I believe that congratulations are in order. You and Vivian, I mean," Charlotte says blushing.
"Thank you, Charlotte. It's been quite the whirlwind of emotions, but Vivian and I are in a really good place right now," Siobhan explains. "That's amazing to hear. I know it's not my place however, but if you need to talk to someone, I'm here for you. I remember the struggles coming to terms with my sexuality," Charlotte says, giving Siobhan a comforting smile. "Thank you, Charlotte. I shall take your offer into consideration," Siobhan says smiling back.
Just than, Jamie runs over. "Mummy Bon!" Jamie says running full speed over to Siobhan, hugging her legs. "Hello Jamie. How was your day?" Siobhan asks him, ruffling his hair. "Good. I missed you," Jamie says to Siobhan with the same bright green eyes as Vivian. Siobhan felt her heart swell, feeling incredibly loved by her partners son. "Alright Jamie. Say goodbye to Charlotte," Siobhan says to Jamie. "Bye Char-char," Jamie says to Charlotte, as she bends down to hug him.
Jamie walks over to Siobhan, grabbing her hand as they head to Siobhan's car. Strapping Jamie into his car seat, and they head home. Siobhan wanted nothing more than to be in Vivian's arms right this moment. They eventually make it home. Getting out of the car, and walking through the front door. "Viv, we're home," Siobhan says as she helps Jamie take off his shoes and coat. Vivian comes downstairs smiling, as she sees her two favorite people again.
"Hello, my two favorite people in the world," Vivian says as she hugs her girlfriend once again, inhaling her scent. All the stress and anxiety Siobhan felt that day, melt away instantly. She had never felt so safe in her whole life. "Mummy! Up!" Jamie speaks up, breaking Vivian and Siobhan's hug. Vivian giggles, picking up her son, giving him a hug as well. "Hi bud, did you have a good day at nursery?" Vivian asks her son. "Yes! I'm hungry Mummy," he says rubbing his tummy, giving Vivian sad eyes.
"I've already got dinner ready at your spot at the dinner table," she says putting him down. "Off you go Jamie," Siobhan says to him. He runs over to his seat, seeing Paw Patrol already on the TV. "Come here you," Vivian says pulling Siobhan in for a passionate kiss. Siobhan wraps her arms Vivian's neck, pulling her even closer.
Vivian responds, wrapping her arms around Siobhan's waist. They break apart, trying to catch their breathe from their kiss. "I missed you, so much today," Siobhan says, as her breathing returns to normal. "Did something happen today?" Vivian asks, looking into Siobhan's eyes. "No. I've just gotten used to being around you more. It felt wierd not being home with you today," Siobhan says caressing Vivian's cheek with her hand. Vivian gives Siobhan a warm smile, admiring her girlfriend.
