𓆩ᥫ᭡𓆪 -- -͙- As Yeonjun made his way back to the hospital, the night air cool against his face, he clutched the bouquet of daisies tightly in his hand. His thoughts were still a jumble of memories and emotions, the weight of the day pressing down on him. The streetlights cast long shadows on the pavement, and the world around him seemed to blur slightly at the edges.

He had only taken a few steps when he noticed a figure walking beside him. Startled, he glanced over, and his breath caught in his throat. Percy was there, her familiar presence warm and comforting, as if she had never left his side. She walked with that Yeonjun easy grace he loved, her expression serene, her eyes full of that quiet strength that had always drawn him to her.

"Percy..." Yeonjun whispered, his voice thick with emotion. He didn't question it, didn't stop to think how it was possible. He was just so relieved to see her, to have her with him, that nothing else mattered. He smiled at her, the weariness in his heart lifting slightly.

"I was just out for a walk," he said, his tone light, almost casual, as if this were any other night. "Needed to clear my head, you know? It's been... it's been a day."

Percy looked at him with those familiar eyes, her gaze gentle and understanding. Yeonjun felt a warmth spread through him, the kind that only she could bring. He continued walking, and she stayed beside him, her presence steady, grounding.

"I saw the daisies," he continued, lifting the bouquet slightly. "They reminded me of you. They always do. I bought them for you. I thought maybe... I thought maybe you'd like to see them when you wake up."

Percy smiled at him, that soft smile that had always made his heart skip a beat. Yeonjun chuckled, a bittersweet sound in the quiet night.

"You've always been stronger than me, Percy," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But seeing you here, even like this... it makes me want to be strong, too. For you. For the kids. I have to believe we'll get through this, that you'll get through this. Because you're too strong not to."

He laughed softly, shaking his head. "You know, it's funny. I've been so caught up in everything, in all the fear and the uncertainty, that I almost forgot how much you mean to me. I mean, I've always known, but... seeing you now, it just hits me even harder."

Percy's laughter joined his, soft and musical, and Yeonjun felt a pang of joy mixed with sorrow. He missed her so much, missed these moments of shared laughter, of simple conversations. But here she was, walking beside him, and for a moment, everything felt right.

"I love you, Percy," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "I love you so much, and I'm not going to give up on you. Not ever."

He was so caught up in the moment, in the illusion of normalcy, that he didn't notice how close he was to the edge of the sidewalk. Percy's image flickered slightly, but Yeonjun didn't see it—he was too focused on her, on the warmth of her presence.

It wasn't until a car horn blared, loud and jarring, that Yeonjun snapped out of his reverie. He stumbled back, the reality of the situation crashing down on him. The illusion of Percy faded, leaving him standing alone on the sidewalk, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Oh God," Yeonjun muttered, his breath coming in short, panicked bursts. He had almost walked into oncoming traffic, so lost in his hallucination that he hadn't even noticed. The realization hit him hard, the exhaustion and stress finally catching up to him.
