Luxury was something that Scarlett didn't know. She grew up in a district that wasn't quite poor but they also weren't quite rich. They just made it through each week ready to take on the next. Therefore when she step foot on the train she seemed amazed. It was even more beautiful than what her brother described to her. Then again Alexander always was the worse person to explain something.

Scarlett took in the expensive look. Her eyes landed on the freshly polished paneled walls and the mahogany tables which had lunch laid out for the tributes. There were many different food options on golden players that the two tributes didn't even know existed. Yet Scarlett was to sick from the reaping to even conjure up an appetite.

After saying goodbye to her mother, Scarlett was dragged onto the train alongside Mason with their escort right behind them. The young girl looked around the train hoping to see her brother but she was highly disappointed when he was nowhere to be seen.

The train shortly started to move getting Scarlett to quickly turn to the window. She walked over and looked at how they were leaving her district behind. She placed her hand on the window and expected to feel at least a bit of rumble but was impressed when said feeling didn't appear.

"200 miles per hour, and you can barely feel a thing." Nina stated as she kept her eyes on the young girl that kept up with her unfazed act.

Nina had an idea of how the young girl was probably feeling. She imagined it hadn't have been easy to see her brother go through the games and now have to experience it herself. She knew what the young girl needed.

"Scarlett..." Nina said in a soft tone getting the young girl to turn away from the window. "Why don't you follow me. There's something I'd like to show you." The escort said extending her hand out towards the girl.

Scarlett looked at her hand and caught one glance of Mason who had taken his attention away from the decorative details and over to her. With a bit of hesitation Scarlett took steps towards the escort yet refused to give in to the touch. She wasn't fond to being touched by unknown people. Although Nina wasn't unknown she didn't quite know her like she did her family. Therefore she didn't trust her enough to step out of her comfort zone.

Nina brought a smile onto her face and retrieved her hand closer to her. She lead the girl towards a separate compartment where a man stood with his back towards them. He appeared to be in deep thought as he looked through the big window located in the very back of the train. Yet the young Knight girl immediately knew who it was.

"Alex." Scarlett said in a whisper yet her brother heard her perfectly.

Alexander turned around and when his eyes landed on his sister she ran to him. The young man quickly caught her in his arms and buried his face into her shoulder. The two siblings hugged each other tightly not wanting to let go. They didn't have to say a thing to know what the other was feeling. It was as if they shared a mutual heart that made them think the same and feel the same.

Nina excused herself and returned to Mason who was confused as to why the female tribute was receiving what he called special treatment. Yet, Nina informed him that Alexander was Scarlett's brother and the two needed a chance to talk since they hadn't seen each other since before the reaping.

"I'm okay." Scarlett told her brother as the two went to sit on a nearby couch.

"You don't have to pretend with me, Scar." Alexander told his sister as he held onto her hand.
