Divergent High The New Stepsister

Chapter 2

I pull into my driveway and turn off my black mustang with neon green flames. I got the mustang for my 16th birthday as a present from my mom and stepdad.

I walk in and see my stepdad dressed a bit fancy and same with my mom.
"Why are you guys looking so nice? Going on a date?" I ask
"My daughter is coming over" Scott says
"Oh cool! I didn't know you had a daughter"
"She should be here any moment now" Mom tells me
"Ok I'm going to go put my stuff in my room" I tell them and head upstairs

I set my bag on my chair and pull out my phone, then put it on the charger.

I hear the doorbell ring, so I look in the mirror to check if I look ok, then run down the stairs.
I see that mom and Scott are at the door talking to someone. They welcome her in and it's Lauren. Wait Lauren is my new stepsister?

"Lauren this is Natalie's daughter Tris" Scott tells Lauren
"Yeah we meet at school today" she smiles
"Awesome! Well Tris can you show Lauren her new room?" he asks
"Yeah of course!" I smile
"Thank you, I need to get started on grilling some hamburgers" he tells us
"Okay" I say "follow me"

I walk up the stairs with Lauren following behind me. I open the door next to mine.
"This is your room, my room is next to yours. After you put your stuff down I'll show you around" I smile at her
"Thanks! I've never had a sister before so this is going to be fun!" she says
"Yeah! I haven't had a sister before, but I have a brother that lives with my dad. They live up in Kansas" I tell her
"Cool!"

I show her around then she heads back to her room to unpack some things. the doorbell rings and I rush over to it and open it to see Four standing there.
"Hey" he says and comes in closing the door behind him
"Guess what." I say
"What?"
"Lauren's my new stepsister!" I tell him
"Really?! That's awesome!"
"Yeah, want to go up to my room?" I ask him
"Sure" he says holding my hand

I close the door to my room and flop down on the bed.
"What do you want to do?" I ask him
"Relax" he says laying down next to me. I lay my head on his chest and look up at him "are you going to stay for dinner?" I ask "were having burgers"
"Yum!" burgers are my favorite!" he says
"So your staying"
"Yep" he smiles
"Good" I smile back

We sit there talking then it eventually turns into a full out make out session. I don't know who long we sat there making out, but the door opens and Lauren walks in. We pull back and I start to blush
"Oh um sorry dad wanted me to tell you guys that the burgers are ready" she says and walks out quickly, closing the door
"That was hilarious!" Four laughs
"No it wasn't That was embarrassing!" I say
"Well wether it was funny or not you looked cute blushing" he smiles
"Whatever lets get some food" I say
"We'll finish this later" he says getting up, then pulls me up
"When does your dad get back from his trip?" I ask
"Tomorrow night" he says "last one to the table is a rotten egg!"

He takes off running down the stairs. I start to run, he reaches the bottom step and I'm still on the second to bottom. I jump on his back, he stumbles but doesn't fall
"Hey that's cheating!" he says
"So! Getty up horsey!" I laugh
"Ugh your so demanding" he laughs
"I said Getty up!"

When we reach the table we're cracking up, I slide off his back and sit on one of the chairs. Four sits next to me.

Scott brings the food in the sits down next to my mom, Lauren sits on the other side of Scott.
"Thank you for the burgers Msr.Smith" Four says
"Your welcome and please call me Scott" he replies back, Four nods and starts to eat.
