Chapter 4

Four just came over so him and Lauren can work on their report. Right now I'm on my way to Aaron's house, so we can work on ours.

I knock on the door, Mr. Starz opens the door
"Well hello there! You must be here to work on social studies" he smiles
"Yep" I smile back
"Come in" he says I walk in and take my shoes off. "let me take you to Aaron's room"
"Thank you"

We walk up two flights of stairs, he knocks on the second door down.
"Aaron your partners here"
"Okay come in" Aaron says

After an hour and a half we're finished.
"That was easier than I thought it was going to be" he says
"Yeah it was," I say "well I better be going my mom wants me home for dinner"
"Okay, see you at school tomorrow! oh here let me walk you out" he says getting up
"Thanks" I smile at him
"No problem" he says opening the door for me

I walk into the kitchen to see mom cooking.
"Hey can you tell everyone it's dinner time?" she asks
"Sure" I smile

I find Scott in the living room watching impractical jokers
"Dinner time" I tell him
"Okay" he says turning the TV off

Next I go up to Lauren's room. I open the door to see what I never wanted to see.

He promised! How could he do that?! With my stepsister! I quickly shut the door without them seeing me. I go back downstairs.
"Um they are almost done with there report." I lie
"Ok then we'll start without them" Scott says
"I'm not hungry," I say lying again " I ate at Aaron's"
"Oh okay" he says
"I'm going to go do my math" I lie and quickly go up to my room. I know I wouldn't be able to stay down there with out crying. I lock my door and lay down on my bed.

I start to think about what I just saw. I feel my eyes starting to water. I don't try to stop the tears from coming. They will come wether I want them to or not.

I just lay there crying. I don't know how long I was laying there for. My phone starts to vibrate, I wipe the tears away and see that it's Chris. I answer
"Hey girl what ya doin?" she asks happily
"Just stuff" I try to make it sound normal but it comes out as a whisper
"Have you been crying?!"
"He broke the promise" I cry
"What? Wait! What?! I'm coming over" she says then hangs up

5 minutes later the door bell rings. then there's a knock on my door
"Tris?"
"Who is it?"
"It's Chris can I come in?" she asks

I get up and unlock the door an lay back down on my bed. The door opens and Chris walks in, closing the door behind her. She sits down next to me and hugs me.
"He promised" I whisper
"I know everything's going to be okay." she says rubbing my back
"How" I get cut of by the door opening
"Hey Tris! What to go on like a mini date?" Four.
"You fucking mule!" Chris says looking at him in disgust
"What?!" he says
"We know you just finished fucking Lauren" she spits at him
"What?! Are you crazy? I would never do that to Tris!" he yells
"No I'm not! Tris walked in on you two!" At that his eyes go wide
"Shit" he mumbles
"So you did fuck my stepsister" I cry
"No! it's not what it looked like!" he says
"Whatever were done" I say through gritted teeth

Chris then walks up to him and punches him real hard in the eye. His hands go up to his eye, then she kicks him where it counts. he doubles over grunting. She then grabs the collar of his shirt and drags him downstairs.

I won't be able to update much I'm at my grandparents and want to spend time with them.
A couple of days ago I just figured out my finger has been broken for seven months (December) I have to get it checked out on the 5th. Hopefully I won't have to have surgery like my doctor said I might have to do.😬🙏
