It's been more than 24 hours, all are sitting outside the ICU room. No one got up from their place, all sat rooted in their place. Even though the doctor had said to wait for 24 hours to know his condition somewhere in their mind they knew, it was not going to end well. Even after pressuring vaiga to eat something, she didn't bulge from her place. How can she eat when her husband is fighting for his life.

When she thought everything was fully back to its form, in a snap of fingers everything shattered.

Vaiga was sitting on the bench like a corpse. She felt as if her soul left her body. She couldn't think of losing him. If something happens to him she will be all alone in this world. It's not like her family won't support her but still the presence of family won't fill the emptiness she was feeling inside.

It's 8 in the morning and all were sitting outside the room when the doctor walked up to them. Looking at the doctor coming Avyansh rushed to him to ask about his brother's condition. "I request you all to wait outside, I will go and check him". Saying this he walked into the room.

After a few minutes the doctor came back followed by a few nurses. He looked tensed, something was definitely wrong. "We are sorry to say this but... Mr. Oberoi has slipped into coma." His mother burst out crying hearing the news. Vaiga's eyes widened after hearing this. But still she was thankful to God for keeping alive.

"It's a miracle that he is still alive. Otherwise patients coming here in this condition don't even stay alive." The doctor said looking at Avyansh who couldn't process whatever the doctor was saying.

Although his brother was alive, he couldn't digest the fact that he was in coma, don't know for how long. Is he ever going to wake up? The question rang in his ears . "Him waking up from the coma can't be assured." Saying this, the doctor was about to walk away when Vaiga stopped him.

"Sir, I am resigning from this hospital. I want to take care of my husband and I would appreciate it if you start with the discharge procedure. My husband doesn't like the hospital environment much". She walked into the ICU room and told Avyansh to take care of the discharge procedure.

She sat on the chair beside the bed and held his hand. Many machines were connected to him. His head is fully wrapped with bandages, his left hand and right leg in a cast. His face was covered with scars some deep, some small cuts. His face looked pale, the glow on his face was gone.

"I know how much you adore your hair and face but look now, you are fully bald now ". She chuckled in her own words. She still remembers how he used to get irritated whenever someone touches his hair. Fuel to it, it was a daily routine for Avyansh to spoil his perfectly styled hair.

"Please wake up. I.. I feel suffocated. Maybe you don't know but I love you. I love you so much that it hurts now. Not for me but for the sake of mom please wake up". She cried holding his hand to her forehead. She always wanted to confess her feelings to him but not like this.

She wanted it to be special which they could cherish for their whole life. She knew he didn't have anything for her. For him she was just a responsibility. That's what she always thought.

Soon Agastya was brought home. Avyansh was given the duty to manage the office work untill his brother wakes up. Vaiga's whole day goes in taking care of him and talking to him even though she knows he is not listening. She never left the room and always stayed beside him. Even the people in their house rarely see her out.

The maids would send the food and it would return back the same way. She stopped talking to others and stayed all by herself. It was hard for everyone to see her like this.

The girl was used to spread happiness with her smile and was now in a world full of darkness without any hope. The noises from the closed door was nowdays increasing. She was the only one who was able to hear it. When she asked their mom she would say she didn't listen to anything.

From the day Agastya is brought from the hospital the noises are increasing, it was like someone was dancing in joy. She used to wake up from the nightmare of something bad happening to Agastya and would later not sleep the whole night.

As much as she wanted to take a look inside that room, she couldn't. She can't leave him all by himself so she gave up on the idea of entering in the room.

Due to the lack of sleep and food her face became pale and eyes covered with dark circles. She was cleaning him with a wet towel when his mother came inside to room with a plate of food. She kept the food on the side table and walked towards her son who was still unaware of his surroundings.

She caressed his face with teary eyes and kissed his forehead. She looked up to see Vaiga who was looking at him without blinking her eyes. "Vaiga, come here." She called called her and sat the near by couch. Vaiga came and sat beside her.

She took took the food from the table and started feeding her. "If you won't eat anything then Agastya will get angry. And when he gets angry you know what happens". She tried to lighten the atmosphere and fed her the food which she bought. After eating it she hugged her mother in law and couldn't stop crying.

Though she was her daughter in law, for her she was her daughter. She always dreamed of getting her married to Agastya but even before they could start their life everything came to an end.

After a few minutes they were sitting in room in silence when they heard the door bell ringing. "I will go and seen." Vaiga got up from her place and descended the stairs and walked towards the door.

Upon opening the door she saw an old man dressed up in an orange colour dhoti and behind him two younger men standing in the same orange colour clothes. The old man's hair was long and white. ."May I know who you are?". He kept staring at her a good few minutes and said,

"Your husband is in a grave danger ".
