"Bas, I'm desperate. Desperate!" Bible paced his room like a caged tiger, his hair disheveled from running his hands through it too many times.

Bas, sprawled on the bed and scrolling on his phone, barely glanced up. "Oh no, a rich kid in distress. Someone alert the media."

"Don't mock me," Bible snapped, spinning around dramatically. "This wedding is a disaster! They're practically chaining me to Jes like he's some prize husband when all I want is to live my life in peace!"

Bas clicked his tongue thoughtfully. "Okay, so... here's a wild idea: why don't you just make it unbearable for them? Act like the most bratty, rebellious version of yourself. Ruin the plans from the inside."

Bible paused mid-pace, a spark of interest lighting up his face. "Like... sabotage?"

Bas nodded, putting his phone down. "Exactly. Be the storm that sinks their perfect ship."

"I like the way you think, Bas," Bible said with a growing grin. "Alright, starting today, I'm going full chaos mode. It's going to be biblical."

The moment was interrupted by a knock on the door. Bible's mom poked her head in, practically glowing with excitement. "Bible! It's your wedding suit fitting today. Jes will be here to pick you up soon. Isn't that wonderful?"

Bible froze, the smile vanishing from his face. "Today? You mean right now? No. Nope. Not happening."

"Yes, happening," she replied firmly. "And don't even think about running off. I've got eyes everywhere."

Before Bible could protest further, she shut the door, leaving him to glare at it like it personally offended him. He turned back to Bas with newfound determination. "We're not doing this fitting thing. I've waited weeks for Krit's movie debut, and we're not missing it. Let's go."

Bas hesitated. "Your mom said-"

"Do I look like I care what she said?" Bible cut in, grabbing his arm. "It's movie day, and we're sneaking out."

The two crept down the stairs like secret agents, avoiding creaky floorboards and holding their breath as they passed the kitchen. Bible couldn't help but feel a rush of adrenaline-this was the kind of adventure he needed to escape the chaos of wedding planning.

But just as he reached for the front door, a voice interrupted his victory. "Going somewhere?"

Jes stood there, leaning casually against the doorframe like he'd been waiting for this moment his whole life. He wore a smug grin, his arms crossed, and Bible instantly regretted every decision that had led to this.

"Jes," Bible growled. "Move."

Jes tilted his head, clearly enjoying himself. "Can't do that. You've got an appointment to keep, and I'm here to make sure you don't flake."

Bible narrowed his eyes, looking around for an escape route, but Jes moved faster. Before he knew it, Jes had grabbed him by the waist and slung him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"Hey!" Bible shouted, kicking his legs. "Put me down, you caveman!"

"Not until you promise to behave," Jes replied, his voice maddeningly calm.

Bas tried to step in. "Jes, maybe-"

But Bible's mom appeared, grabbing Bas by the arm. "Let's go, Bas. Bible's got work to do, and so do you."

"Traitor!" Bible shouted as Bas was dragged away, throwing him an apologetic shrug.

Jes, meanwhile, carried Bible effortlessly to the car, ignoring his constant squirming. "This is illegal, you know," Bible said, trying to sound serious. "You're going to jail."
