CHAPTER 16

"The confession"

Suk Hwi, Mrs. Nam and Mr. Nam heard the  noises from Yejin's room. They all went to the stairs but they stop when they saw Bin going downstairs carrying Yejin on his shoulder.

"Yah put me down,Bin shhi!" She said.
"No, we're going home." He said.

And he continue to walk downstairs.

Yejin see the three. "Ahjumma! Mr. Nam! Help me..." She said. 

Suk Hwi is about to help her but Mrs. Nam stop her. "Madame told us not to interfere with them. Let the two fix their problem." She said.

"Yah! Suk hwi..." She said.

Bin smile when he heard Mrs. Nam.

Yejin feel defeated and she stop on struggling.

Bin put her down when their enter to their house. Yejin gave him a death glared. "What's this, Bin?" She said. "This is your house now, Yej." He said. "This our house..." He added. Yejin couldn't speak and she just rolled her eyes.

She was about to walk towards to her room when Bin hold her on her wrist. "Please let's talk..." He said. Yejin look at him. "There's no need to talk about it, Bin." She said.

"No! We should talk about it and there's so many things that I wanted to tell you." He said and look at her eyes.

"Like what, Bin? Ha Neul Eonnie already told me to know my place is. And she's right, I think we should put some boundaries between us." She said.

Bin try to control himself. She try to release herself but Bin won't her.

They're eyes met and they feel their own heartbeat are beating abnormally.

"Ha Neul is not my girlfriend and that's the truth." He said. "You're lying I saw you kissing her that night." She said. "I know what  I saw-" She said but she didn't finish her sentence when Bin interrupt her. "Yes she kiss me!" Bin said. Yejin look at him through his eyes. "But I didn't kiss her back... Please believe me,Yej." He said. "Okay, I pretend to be her boyfriend. I just help her to get her revenge to her ex boyfriend and that's all. Believe me, she's not my girlfriend." He said.

Yejin couldn't speak because she feel his sincerity on his word.

She look away because she's getting confused. "You don't have to explain to me,Bin." She said. "I should... I should fix this misunderstanding so let me." He said. Yejin look at him. "Don't do this... You're getting me confused right now." She said. She's getting confused if Bin has feeling on her or he's only guilty because of their situation right now, being her husband.

Yejin can't hold her tears anymore she push him and walk passed through him but she got startled when Bin suddenly hug her on her back.

"To my crescent moon shape eyes.... I... Like you..." He whispered. Yejin's eyes got widen and she feels that her heart is pounding continuously. Her tears started to flow on her cheeks. Bin turn her around and put his hand on her face and look at her through her eyes.

"I'm glad you're the one who read my letter." He said. "You're the sender? You're him? Lover boy?" She asked. Bin smile and nodded. "Yes, and that letter is only for you. I like you... Too late to realize my feelings for you." He said while touching her face.

Yejin couldn't believe on what she's hearing right now.

Bin hug her. "You don't have to answer me right away. Just stay where you are and let me show you how much you mean to me. But just don't try to avoid me like you did last time." He whispered. He feel a warm liquid dropping on his shoulder. He close his eyes as he hug her tightly.

'Is this for real? Is he really feel the same way? Or this is only just a dream?.... If it is, I don't want to wake up in this dream...' In Yejin's mind. She close her eyes and let her enjoy his warm hug.

Ha Neul throw her things because of her anger.

She's looking at herself in the mirror and cried. She falls on him and it's killing her inside.

She take her phone and re read Bin's message earlier.

'Leave her alone... We already talked about it so please don't you ever talked to Yejin like what you did earlier...

Ha Neul cries and throw her phone. "I like you, Bin... Why it has to be her and not me?" She said.

On the other hand

Nara couldn't believe on what she learned. "Abeoji.... All this time you only pretending? She said. "And you knew it too, Eun Byeol?" She added.

Eun byeol nodded. "I just found out when I got back from maldives." She said.

"Don't be mad at her. I'm the one who planned this." Mr. Hyun said. "But Abeoji... Did you know how difficult it is to Yejin especially to Bin." She said.

Mr. Hyun look at her. "I know but did you see the development in their relationship. They got closer." He said. "Abeoji, what if Bin is only trying to get along with her because he's worried about you and also Yejin? I'm just thinking if what we did is the right thing to do?" She said.

"What do you mean?" Mr. Hyun said.

Nara sit and let out a deep sigh. "Bin confessed to me that he has a girlfriend." She said.

"What?" Eun Byeol and Mr. Hyun said.

"And I confirmed it when I saw them hugging each other last time." Nara said. (It is the day when Ha Neul went to Bin's house.)

Mr. Hyun let out a deep sigh while Eun Byeol is confused. "Oppa never tell me about his girlfriend?" She murmured. Just like Yejin, they're so close and open on each other.

"Abeoji... I'm worried that they will end up getting each other if we continue to push their marriage. Aside from it, Jin Yeong and I are best friends... I don't want our friendship to be ruined because of that agreement." She said.

Mr. Hyun sit on the sofa. "Find that girl... And I want to talk to her before I make my decision." He said.

"But Halabeoji....  We both see how they got close right now..." Eun byeol protest. "Your mother is right, if Bin is inlove to someone else, this will be hard for him and Yejin." Mr. Hyun said.

Yejin keep tossing on her bed. She couldn't sleep because of what happened earlier. She unknowingly smile as she recalled Bin's confession.

"He likes me too..." She whispered with smile on her face. "Yah! Can I be really happy now?" She said. She close her eyes and see Bin's face with dimples on his face. 

She put her two hands on her face to cover it when she feels her face is getting red.

Meanwhile, Bin is looking to their childhood picture. He's smiling while touching Yejin's photo. "Finally, I had a courage to confessed." He said. "And now... I will make this marriage works. You will be my wife forever. I won't let you go this time, my Yejin." He said.
