CHAPTER 41

Yejin feel her body frozed for a second as she see Bin infront of her.

'What he's doing here?...' In her mind.

She accidentally drop her pouch on the floor because of her nervousness. She was about to pick it when Bin suddenly stood up and pick it on the floor.

Bin steal glances on her

From her feet upto her thighs. He got so confused why he see in her his wife's body. In Bin's thought. Yejin look away.

Bin gave her pouch and she immediately take it from his hand. "Thanks..." She said. Bin look at her because her voice is seem so familiar to him. He look away when he feels that she's being uncomfortable because of his gazed on her.

Bin pull the chair for her. "Have a seat..." He whispered. Yejin immediately sit down as she try to calm herself.

Bin still smell her fragrance. He smile when he remembered Yejin through her.

"Let's eat... You can relax and feel comfortable tonight." Yejin said as she trying to hide her nervousness. "It seems you're the one who's getting nervous.."He said. "What?" She said.

Bin let out a small smile. He takes the bottle of red wine infront of him and call the waiter.

The staffs are exchange their glances.

"Yes, Sir..." The waiter said. "Please serve us champagne tonight instead of this one." He said. "Okay, Sir..." He said.

'Wait? Is he knew Im Author Aerin? Or is this a coincidence that I preferred to drink champagne instead of red wine?' In her thoughts.

Yejin smile while Bin is looking at her eyes. Even though she's wearing her mask, he still see her eye smile behind it.

He smiled.

'Am I crazy to think that Yejin is the lady who is infront of me right now....' In his mind.

They continue eating while Bin keep stealing glances on her.

"Yah! Why they didn't talk to each other? Are you sure that you gave him his script?" The director said. They're seated on one corner of the restaurant.

"Mr. Hyun Bin right?" She said. As she started a topic to break the awkwardness she felt. Bin smile and nodded.

"I'm surprised that you read and love my books?" She said.

Bin look at her. "Why not? It's famous and I find it interesting..." He said. Yejin continue on eating. "Oh really? But you're not interested on that kind of romantic novel..." She unknowingly said. She bite her lips because she couldn't take her back what she said.

Bin heard it and he smiled. "Do you know me, Author Aerin?" He asked and look at her in her eyes.

Yejin gulped and she was about to look away when something caught her attention.

His wedding ring.... He still wearing it.

Bin notice her and look where she's looking. He look at his ring.

Yejin try to remain calm as she take her wine and drink it.

"You're married?" She asked. Bin look at his ring. "I'm divorced...." He said.

Yejin look at him. She was about to speak when Bin suddenly speak.

"But don't get me wrong..." He said. "I'm came here to say my thank you to you as the author of that book. Im not here to have a romantic date with you just like what everyone wanted." He said.

Yejin was speechless.

"Honestly, I been diagnosed with temporal lobe tumor three years ago." He said. He let out a deep sigh before he speak again. "I undergone a brain surgery and the survival rate is only forty percent and If I would survive.... It had a side effect." He said and look at her eyes.

Yejin is silently listening to him. This is also a chance for her to know what happened to him three years ago while being separated to each other.

"I just found out about my sickness while I'm in my happy marriage. All my dreams we're shattered when I found out. My wife... She's my everything, she's my life... I couldn't afford to loose her." He said.

Yejin try to control her tears. "So why you got divorced?" She asked and pretend she didn't know anything.

Bin drink his champagne. "I... I made a wrong decision. I thought it will be the best for her. I don't want her to suffer in loneliness when the day is come that I couldn't remember her. That I couldn't remember our anniversary just like what happened before we got divorced." He said. He still feel the pain of that night. How he see her wearing a black mini dress and how she set up the table for them.

Bin try to hide his pain.

Yejin eyes widen when she recalled that night, the night of their anniversary. The night that she made an effort to surprised him. She thought that he's really act cold to her but the truth is, Bin really forget their anniversary because of his sickness.

Yejin tears unknowingly escaping from her eyes.

"I pushed her away.... And I regret it. I follow her to the airport but I was too late, I couldn't find her until I collapsed. I've been in a coma for three months and when I woke up, I couldn't remember everything.... Even my own name." He said and his tears unknowingly fall from his eyes. "Aside from it, I wasn't able to walk.." He added.

The staffs and even the director got their eyes teary as they listening to their conversation.

Yejin  look away but she couldn't control her tears.

'I didn't know, Im sorry I wasn't there for you...' In her mind.

"Thank you... Because of your book I remember her. I remember my first love and that is my wife..." He said.

Yejin look at him. She got surprised to heard it. She doesn't know about it. That she was his first love.

She is sobbing.

"Ms. Aerin are you okay?" He asked.

Yejin nodded and with her trembling hand she take her glass of champagne. She was about to drink it when it accidentally slip on her hand. It pours on her dress and that's what makes her startled.

Bin immediately take the napkin and stood up to help her. He stop when something caught his attention.

Her red mole on her chest near her cleavage.

'Yejin...' In his mind.

Yejin take the napkin from his hand. Bin still looking at her red mole. Then his eyes widen when he saw her wedding ring as her pendant. He smile and let out a breath of relief.

"Son Ye Jin..." He said.

Yejin couldn't speak and look at him. Bin immediately take her hand and gently pull her and they walk outside the restaurant.

"Yah!" The director shouted. "What he's been doing?" He said. "Stop them!!!" He screamed.

Bin ignored it as he walking at the hallway still holding her hands.

Chul soo saw them. With the large step he approach them. He stand infront of Bin.

"Get lost!" Bin said. Yejin still looking at him.

"Yah, Hyun Bin! Let go of her..." Chul Soo shouted.

"Move! This lady is Yejin... And she's mine so now, move Park Chul Soo..." He said.

He walk passed through him and intently bumped his shoulder. Yejin let him and follow him.

They stop from his walk when they reach his car. He gently lean her on the car and look at her.

Yejin gulped while looking at him. He immediately take off her mask and he release a breath of relief when he see her face.

"I knew it... It is you..." He whispered while touching her face.
