Lincoln and I walked for awhile till we got to a statue. He looked over to me and sat me down on a rock near it,telling me to wait here till he returns with his village leader.
So I waited, I don't know how long, till I heard movement and voices. I set up my bow, just incase it wasn't Lincoln. After a couple minutes they where walking up to me but before I could react Anya had a knife up to my throat.
" tell me why you brought this filthy sky person " she growled.
" I can speak your language as well, and don't call me sky person, i hate them "
Anya stood and pushing the blade closer to my neck with a dark expression in her eye. She then looked at Lincoln then at me.
" So, then who are you " she questions an tightens the blade against my neck once again.
" I am no one " I replied.
" you look like sky person, yet you tell us you are not, how " she asked
" my people betrayed me for helping Lincoln because he helped save one of our own" I snapped.
She then grabbed me and Lincoln went and jumped on her, and raised his fist. I then jumped into action and grabbed his wrist twisting it and pulled him off standing in front of Anya with a knife against his throat.
" what are you doing she was going to kill you" he said looking at me with a confused face.
" Then she may kill me, but I will not let you betray your people, to save me, you saw what my people did to me. So imagine what yours will do to you" I snapped at him.
Anya then stood up and walked in between me and Lincoln and just looked at him a bit before talking.
" I will let her stay but she must tell me everything about her village and how we can defeat them " She then turned to me before continuing" you will be in the dungeon till I know I can trust you, and don't think of doing anything stupid"
We walked till we got to her village, I was about to ask Anya a question till I felt myself fall over. I looked up and saw someone towering over me, he seemed pissed and had the look of murder in his eyes. He took out a knife and was about to attack me before Anya jumped I front of me.
" Titan, no she is not our enemy, if you kill her, you will get the death of a traitor" she spat at him.
Titan growled at me before muttering something under his breath and walking away, Lincoln grabbed my hand in support before walking away towards a tent.
"Where is he going" I asked not thinking about if she knew English.
" He is going to the healers tent to get his wounds that your people caused healed " snarled before walking away.
She grabbed my hand before dragging me to what looked like the " dungeon " she said I would be staying in. After she sat me, I saw what looked like a boy all cut up in a cage, I looked closer to see he was still breathing but appeared to be asleep. Anya looked in where I was then turned to me and just shook her head as if say that, that was not my fate. She got up and left me there before later returning with clothes and what looked like blue paint.
" Take off your shirt" she said pointing.
I did as she said and then saw her expression change from sad to confused.
" who did this to you" she questioned then placing a hand on my collarbone where the electric burn still was.
"My people " I snapped at her.
She just nodded before putting a finger in the blue paint and placing it on my skin before doing different designs.
" what is this" I mumbled.
" to join us you need, the villages symbols, every warrior has one and you will be no different, but you will have to prove to me that you can be trusted because if not then you will be killed for the deaths of many." she replied.
Once she finished she cleaned of her hands. I looked at the paint before I took out a needle and placed a point in it and looked at what was kinda like a mirror and placing 5 dots on my face around my eye brow.
" what did you do that for" Anya questioned.
" it reminds me of the five people I thought I could trust that betrayed the trust I gave them" I signed.
Anya stood up and grabbed my hand before lifting me up and dragging me out of the dungeon to a tent. I was then pushed down and she once again left me there before returning with clothes, and placing them in my hand.
I changed into them real quick before looking down at them. I had on a black leather type shirt that hand one long sleeve and the other was sleeve less. My pants where tight and black with a couple gold studs on one side by the top of my hip.
"Thank you but why the sudden change of heart" I said confused.
" you remind me of our commander, and your own people betrayed you, so I should trust you not to betray me" she replied before sitting me down and doing my hair.
" I will not betray you guys, I just want a family and home" I signed.
" and as long as you don't you shall have that here..." She stopped" what is your name"
"kefira"
"you will be a great warrior , Kefira" she grinned a little.
Later Anya said I could stay in her tent, so that no one would bother me and said that tomorrow I would have to tell her about how to defeat the sky people.
--the next day---
I sat there telling Anya all about the camp when Lincoln came into the tent asking to speak to her.
" Anya what I'm about to tell you, you must consider" he began" one of the sky people came to me when I was at my cave and asked if we could have peace"
" Peace they want peace after killing two villages, they are scared as they should be " she snarled.
" Anya please consider this, you now what would happed if heda learns you did not take the offer" Lincoln stated." we are meeting on the bridge and we have decided in the name of peace to not bring weapons"
Anya just nodded and he walked out, she then turned to me.
" you are coming with " she states, grabbing my arm and yanking me out of the tent
