So now, going about two days into the future. Well, the future for past me.

Wait, does that make it the present?

Eh, let's not think too hard about it.

Onward! To the start of school!

My first day of sophomore year...

Now, keep this in mind, mmk? I'm no ordinary, sophomore boy who's going to get picked on because he's in all of the available AP classes and exclusively hangs out with girls.

I'm a gay, sophomore boy who's going to get picked on because he's in all of the available AP classes, and exclusively hangs out with all girls.

Aaaand everyone of his class knows he's gay.

Okay, so now that we've established that...

Colin showed up at my house an hour before I was awake. I only knew this because my Mom told me when I got home,

Yes I talk to my mom. I love, and have a good relationship with my parenting unit, okay?! When was that a crime?!

I didn't know he was there, so I had a bit of a start when I stumbled into the kitchen, shirtless, and in fuzzy, powder-blue-Christmas-tree-imprinted pajama pants.

So seeing my boyfriend, casually sitting at my table gave me quite a shock.

He jumped as I squeaked pathetically, tripping over my own feet and catching myself on a table. I look down at myself and I see a blush start at my belly and make it's way up.

"Um," Colin says, voice straining a little.

"Colin," I stress, hardly able to talk. "Why are you here?"

"Oh, um I thought we could walk to school together or something," he stammerred, and my eyes went up a little to gauge his expression.

"It's five o'clock Colin," I hiss, not meaning to sound upset but that's all I could sound like, at, ya know. 5am.

"I know, sorry, I'll go." He mumbles quickly, standing up. I lurch forward and hit my knee on a table leg.

I was a very ungraceful fifteen year old, to say at the least. Again, not much has changed.

"No! Um, no." I cleared my throat, trying to sound assertive. Colin was looking very sharp in dark wash jeans and a hunter green shirt, his hair combed and had a damp look like he was in the shower. "Stay."

I blush at our eye contact and so does he.

"I'm going to get ready for school now," I say, kind of detached, trying to sound blasé. I rush through my shower and I feel like it's fastest I've ever gotten ready in my whole life.

I was wearing average clothes, just some jeans and a striped shirt, and- I'll admit it- my mom picked them out. I felt kind of stupid in front of the mirror on the back of my door trying to sort out my impossible mop of hair. I walked out, feeling shy, but the look on Colin's face when I walked out melted it right away.

His brown eyes widened and he blushed. "You look nice."

"Thank you." I grab a pop tart, looking at the time. "We have to meet Molly and Gwen outside in-"

Beepbeeeep!

"-now, I guess," I finish. Gwen's dad, Thomas, drives us around until Gwen can drive.
