"Kelly where are we going?" Kylie giggled as she sat blindfolded in the front seat of my truck. "No peaking, we're almost there." I told her.
I'm surprising her with a beach picnic date like I promised before I left for Houston a few weeks ago. I figured she could use a break after everything that went on a few days ago. I had Jordan and Kendall help me set up at this small private beach I usually go to, to get away sometimes. Little does she know, I have a something special up my sleeve.
"Alright Ms. Jenner we're here." I announced as I parked. "Can I look now." She turned towards me. "No, but I'll help you out of the car." I smiled even though she couldn't see me. I got out, grabbing our bags and carefully helped Kylie out of the car to led us to our designated spot that was hidden by trees.
"I think I know where we are." She said now that her feet were in the sand. "Now you can take the blindfold off." I helped her start untying.
"Kellyyy!" She gasped as her face lit up. "Do you like it?" I asked. "Of course! This is beautiful!" She hugged me. "Don't think I forgot about our date." I led us to sit down. "I'm glad you didn't, I need this mini getaway." She breathed. "I got your sushi anddd.." I held up the bottle of wine that she loves so much. "Ugh I could kiss you right now, you're so sweet." She said smiling. "I try." I nodded as we began to eat, also sending a text to Kendall to thank her.
KO: this shit looks great, thank you guys again kenny
Kendall: ofc! good luckkk!! ;)//
"Bible! Ask Kendall I swear it was the funniest shit on the planet." She laughed as she told me the story of her sisters pranking Kris when they were younger.
I admired her makeup free face as she drunk her wine. I don't know how she makes simple tasks look so good but she does.
"I bet it was hella fun growing up with that many siblings." I chuckled sipping my wine. "You don't have any?" She asked. "Nope. Just me and moms in good ole nola." I answered. "How come you never told me about your childhood? You've had many opportunities." She pointed out. "It's nothing much to it if I'm being honest, born and raised in New Orleans, we didn't really have much but my mom always made it happen. She's the one who taught me how to cook." I thought back to my childhood.
"Even when we had nothing I always found a way to play ball. My middle school coach even paid for me to play on the team. That's when Hurricane Katrina came through and fucked everything up so we moved to Washington. The drafts happened a few years later and the rest is history. Got my mom a house back there, I go from time to time." I finished my story. "Your mom sounds like the sweetest lady ever." Kylie said. "I know for a fact you two would get along, you both have some similar traits I picked up on." I chuckled. "Oh really? Like what?" She looked at me giddily.
"Well for starters, you both cannot leave the room in the morning without making the bed." I poked her side which caused her to laugh. "Because how could you not?" She rolled her eyes laughing. "It's going to get back messy when you lay in it Kyls." I shook my head. "Not the point." She held up a finger.
I held her as we sat in silence for a few watching the waves crash into each other and the sun was now set. I'm really connected to this girl. It's been a whole month we've been together and it's feels like forever. She just gets me.
" I really love this." She softly whispered. "I'm glad I could make you happy, you deserve it love." I pecked her temple. "Now that I think about it, where are we? and why isn't there literally anyone on this beach?" She looked around. "About 30 mins from Calabasas, this is my secret spot I come to when I need to debrief. I never bought anyone here." I told her. "What makes me so special then?" She fluttered her eyelashes.
"I never felt this strong for someone before, it's something about you Kylie that keeps me intrigued." I explained holding her hand causing her to blush.
My whole plan was to bring her here to ask her to be my girlfriend. She's all I want and now it's time to make it official.
"Stop it!" She hid her face not even trying to contain her toothy smile. "Look at me." I turned her to face me. "I'm listening." She smiled.
"I'm falling for you more and more everyday Ky, and it's crazy because who would've thought a night out would turn into this." I started. "We been through so much these last 2 months and it showed me that I really want you. I love how confident and independent you are, how goofy you are, you're the life of the party quite literally." I chuckled.
"I want to be who you're seeing exclusively if you'll have me.." I nervously finished, looking into her eyes. A smile spread across her face as she hugged me tightly. "Yes I would love to go official Kelly." She pulled away looking at me. I picked her up and spun us around cheering, placing multiple kisses on her cheeks.
"You don't know how long I been wanting to ask." I placed her back on her feet, holding her waist. "You don't know how many times I've almost called you my boyfriend to my friends, even though they could already see it." She wrapped her arms around my neck.
I softly placed my lips on hers as the imaginary sparks flew. I got my girl.
"I promise to always be here for you, no matter the terms. I'll treat your heart as it's my own." I locked our pinky's. "I promise the same Kelly." Her eyes watered. "Don't cry love." I kissed her head. "You're just so gentle with me. Thank you." Her arms latched around me.
"You deserve it baby." I held her.
